RECAP: RAAJ'S EXIT..

PART 17

"Wow..! guys.. what a wonderful day.." Anjie said sitting in the caf, having lunch.. "Kya baat hai aaj subah se hi tum bohot khush lag rahi ho.." Atul asked "Haan vo aaj itne dino baad subah subah Sanjeevni mein Dr. Raaj Khurana ka naam nahi suna aur nahi uska chehra dikha.. dats why.." All others smiled at her thought when Atul slowly complemented her "Tum haste hue bohot achi lagti ho.." nd she kinda blushed saying "Thanks.." this was being observed by Ridhhima from the corner of her eye Hmm.. to yahan bhi kuch kuch ho raha hai..di ko maine pehli baar blush karte hue dekha hai.. she thought when Armaan broke in "Acha ab jab aaj sab khush hain to kahin bahar chalein..?"

"yup gr8 idea.. lekin kahan..?" "Arre muski di.. hum mumbai mein hain.. to kyun na aaj mumbai ke hi maze lein.. I mean beaches nd then chaat etc.. what say..?"

"Gr8  idea Ridz.. so its done.. lekin Arav..? vo to bore ho jayega..!" anjie asked

"No worries anjie.. Arav thodi der dad ke saath reh lega.. even dad will have a company.." Armaan said.. "Okk guys so now plan is made.. Rahul ke concert ke baad we'll all be meeting at chaupati at 8.." Armaan said.. "Okk.. muski di aur Atul bhaiya will meet up Rahul at the concert audi nd we'll pick up Di.." Ridhhima said to check the expressions at Atul nd Anjie's face.. nd to her delight they were as she has expected.. She smirked nd prompted at Anjie.. "Theek hai na Di.." hiding her smile.. "Ha..haa..haan.. mujhe kya problem hogi.." she said hiding her disappointment nd being caught all of a sudden.. All this while Armaan wa only looking at Ridhhima nd change of a hundreds expressions on her face with in a minute.. knowing her too well it was not difficult fir him to realise that she was surely upto something.. lekin what this time was the question..

In the evening while returning home AR were in Armaan's car nd Atul nd Muskaan were in Atul's car..

In Armaan's car

"So what are you planning haan..?" Armaan finally confronted.. "Huh..! planning..? kya ke rahe ho tum..?" Ridhhima was confused.. "Mrs. Mallik.. I'm smart enough to read your face.. subah caf se notice kar raha hoon.. kya chal raha hai aapke iss shaitaani dimag mein hmm..?" he asked with his trademark smile.. she smiled at him.. He knew her too well  to take any lie.. so she blurt it out.. "I think Di aur Atul bhaiya mein kuch chal raha hai.." Armaan was so shocked "What.. I think you are imagining things Jaan.. champ nd Anjie.. I don't think so.. abhi to mile hai dono.. aur itna interact bhi nahi karte.. to phir.." Ridhhima cut him in between "Armaan vo log jitni baatein karte hain na I guess they're enough to know anyone.. aur humare saamne nahi lekin tum bhool rahe ho ki unn dono ke paas mobile naam ki bhi cheez hai.. aaj maine dono ko alag bhejne ka plan isileye recommend kiya coz I wanted to see their expressions nd I was so right.. Di was looking so disappointed.. just like Arav looks when I don't allow him for another chocolate after he has had one.." Armaan smiled at the comparison she made just now ns said  "Acha baba.. theek hai.. lekin pata nahi kyun I still don't believe this.. I mean.." Ridhhima finally said in full confidence "acha theek hai.. I have a plan.. If I prove this to you tab to manoge na.. vo dono bolenge nahi lekin I'm sure you can read their tones nd expressions.." by the time they were home when Armaan said "okk then.. deal.. If you win.. you get an ice cream treat where ever nd whenever you want.." they entered to find Jai Mallik ready to go somewhere "Dad you going somewhere..?"  "Haan vo main Dr. gupta ke ghar ja raha thha.. he has invited me for the dinner as Anjali told him that you kids are going outside.. I'm taking Arav with me as well.." Ridhhima was abit uncomfortable with Arav being at Gupta house but she didn't had courage to say that in front of Mr. Mallik.. Armaan looking at her expressions gently squeezed her hand reassuringly.. "kya hua Ridhhima.. beta koi problem hai..?" Mr. Mallik questioned looking at ridhhima's lost face.. "Haan.. umm.. nahi.. vo.. papa Arav vahan theek rahega na..? bas chinta ho rahi thhi.." Mr. Mallik assured her nd left with Arav..

At gupta house.. Padma Shashank nd Jai Mallik were sitting in the lounge.. nd Arav was walking around the house when he entered Anjie's room who was trying to select a dress for herself.. "Maashi.. yeh aapka ghal hai..?" Anjie was surprised to see him there nd picked him up smiling "Hello baby.. aap kab aaye..? Hmm.." looking around at the teddies nd other things in the room nd then back at her he innocently said "Abhi abhi.. dadu ke shaath.." then again asked "Maashi yeh aapke toys hain..?" adoring him "Haan Arav.. lekin aap chaho to inhe le sakte ho.. Arav ko bhi teddy bears pasand hain na.." now he was really happy nd hugged Anjie out of joy.. "Shachi maashi.. main vo vale teddly winks ke saath khel sakta hoon.. vo geen vala.." Anjie was new to this babyish language so she understood it with a long effort finally she came to know that he wanted to play with the GREEN TEDDY which he called GEEN TEDDLY WINKS she smiled at this nd got him the teddy bear he wished to have nd tried to teach him "Arav yeh teddy bear kaunse color ka hai..?" she got a quick reply from Arav who grinningly said "geen.." she giggled abit nd said "Arav geen nahi baby.. its Green.. bolo grrrreeeennn.." she said making it sound easy nd he again repeated after her "Geeennnn.." she giggled more she was enjoying this "Arav geen nahi Green.." looking at his amused maasi Arav grined nd again said "geen teddly winks.."cuddling the teddy.. she finally sighed nd laughed whole heartedly seeing his innocent antics.. looking at the watch she said "achha baby aap yahan khelo maasi abhi change karke aayi okk.." she gave him a kiss on his head nd took out a dress of Atul's favourite color "Blue".. She came out wearing a dark blue skin fitted jeans nd a white nd blue tube tank top.. "Arav maasi kaisi lag rahi hai..?" nd to her surprises he gave a prompt reply "Shekshy.." grining widely.. she was shocked beyond wits.. "What..?.. Arav yeh kisne sikhaya aapko..hmm.. ache bache aise nahi kehte.." "Papa.. ache bache nahi..?" she knew it implied he has heard Armaan saying it nd thought I should have known it Armaan ka beta hain..can say anything in this world.. "Nahi beta.. papa bade hain na.. isliye.. aap abhi chote ho.. ok good boy.. (she kissed his cheek) acha ab aap yahan kheloge ya maasi ke saath niche chaloge..?" in reply Arav streched his arms to her implying to pick him up.. she gladly did that nd went towards the trio chatting.. "Okk mom.. I'm leaving Armaan nd ridz are waiting for me.. bye Dad.. bye Uncle.." she said putting Arav on the sofa nearby kissing his head "bye Arav.." "bye maashi.."

JUST AS Arav said that Jai Mallik asked in a confused tone "HE just now called you Maasi..?" anjie was now caught all of a sudden.. she didn't want to tell Mr.Mallik the truth about her elation with Ridhhima till Ridhima decided to do that herself so he covered up saying "Actually uncle Ridz takes me as her sister so she calls me Di.. nd Arav calls me Maasi.." satisfied at her answer Mr. Mallik smiled nd said "Arre haan.. main to bhool hi gaya thha.. Ridhhima bohot jaldi sab se rishta bana leti hai.. its okk beta tum jao.. they must be waiting.." as she left Mr. Mallik saw arav cuddling the teddy anjie gave him nd asked "Arav yeh Teddy bear kahan se ayaa..?" to which he repied in his babyish voice "maashi ne diya.. aul bhi hain maashi ke paash.." nd again busied himself with his toys.. Jai smiled at him nd said "dekho kitne maze se khel raha hai Ridhhima to bekaar hi pareshaan ho rahi thhi.. (he looked up at Shashank nd continued) main jab yahan aaraha thha to mujhse pooch rahi thhi ki Arav yahan theek to rahega.. aur Arav ko dekho yeh to bilkul theek hai.." listening to him Shashank felt sad as Ridhhima was worried only because it was his house.. nd here his grandson was sitiing nd playing in front of him but he can't even play or cuddle him in his arms..

 

Where as in AR's car.. Armaan Ridhhima nd Anjie..

Ridhhima has decided to play a trick nd asked Armaan to play along.. as they were just afew minutes away from the beach AR started to discuss.. "Ridhhima.. yeh Atul ko kya hua..?" listening to Atul's name Anjie involuntarily paid attention to what they were talking while Armaan kept an eye on her reactions.. "kuch nahi bas vo thoda fever thha is liye unhone apna programe cancel kar diya.." Ridhima replied to which Anjie's reaction was of pure concern nd disappointment.. "Ridz.. atul ko fever hai.. how is he.. aaj din mein to theek thha.." both Armaan nd Ridhhima grinned at her response but Armaan still wanted to confirm more so he let Ridhhma nd Anjie continue their talks when Anjie said "guys I think even I should go back then.. main bekaar mein tumhaare ya Rahul muskaan ke beech aaungi.." listening to this Armaan was now confirmed.. so he ended it there nd then.. "Arre yar anjie we were just kidding.. champ Rahul aur muskaan ke saath pohoch chuka hai.." slightly angry "to phir yeh stupid mazaak kyun..?" "di vo maine Armaan se bet lagayi thhi ki agar aisi situation hui to aap vapas jaane ka decide karengi kyunki aap bi akele bore ho jayengi.. aur Armaan said ki nahi aap humare saath bhi enjoy kar sakti hain.. bas.." Ridhhima covered up sighing.. then another thing struck anjie nd she just punched Armaan's arm "aaaooo.. Anjie it hurts.. kaha na ki sirf mazaak thha.." he said rubbing his arm when she retorted "yeh punch uss mazaak ke liye nahi thha.. tumhe sharam nahi aati.. kya kya sikha te ho Arav ko.." now AR were confused "Arre what did I do.." then Anjie narrated the whole incident "maine ready hokar Arav se poocha ke main kaise lag rahi hoon.. to you guys know he immideately said SEXY .. aur jab maine usse samjhaya to he said ke usne tumhe bolte hue suna yeh word.." defending himself "Haan to ismein bura kya hai.. Armaan Mallik ka beta hai flirt to karega na.." but he stopped when he heard ridhhima "Mr. Armaan Mallik.. vo mera bhi beta hai aur khabardaar jo phirse usse aisa kuch sikhaya to.." then after some time till they reached Anje told them her Green nd Geen vala incident nd all three burst laughing.. as soon as the parked anjie got down nd Ridhima announced "I want my ice cream treat tonight.. Arav ko lekar chalenge.. okk.." nodding he said "okk.. princess.. ab to champ gaya.."

After having pani puris nd chaats the gang decided to have some more fun..

"Arre yaar we'll go somwhere else too lekin uske pehle me nd Atu need water.." Rahul said "Haan yar tum sab itni mirchi kaise khate ho.." atul agreed while others were laughing at their faces.. "Mr.Rahul Mallik welcome to mumbai.. yeh yahan ka sabse famous food spot hai.. aur spicy chaat is the speciality.." "naoways bhabhi.. main to yeh sab dubara nahi khaane vala.. aap to yahin se ho isliye aapko aadat hai lekin for the first attemp I'm busted till I get some water.." Rahul said to Ridhhima.. Finally Armaan got them water nd they decided to go for camel ride.. "Arre bhai kya baat kar rahe ho.. wahan kitni bheed hai.. vahan main gaya to one piece vapas nahi aaunga.." Rahul said getting scared the his fans might tear his clothes or get out of control.. Armaan understood but he knew that Ridhhima wanted the ride badly so he told Rahul to stay there nd rest of them will be back.. even Muski gave company to Rahul.. while they were doing their romance in the car.. AR nd AA went to the camel man.. Armaan being Armaan asked the guy for 3 camels.. "oye.. why three..?" atul asked "coz champ me nd my jaan will be sitting together so one for you nd another for anjie.." he said smiling wickedly nd waited for atul or anjie's disagreement nd to his delieght anjie said "Armaan I'm afraid of height nd I still wanna ride so we'll also sit together.." Armaan grinned at Ridhhima nd said "ya sure anjie.. atul is all yours.. (when AA glared at im in shock he covered up saying) for the ride yar.. tum kya samjhe..?" "k..ku..kuc..kuch nahi.. lets sit.." atul fumbled nd AR smiled knowingly to themselves..

Camel Ride

First Armaan lifted Ridhhima off the ground nd made her sit nd then climbed behind her.. nd same was the case with AA.. when the camel man gave his hand to Anjie Atul didn't like it nd helped her on his own as implying that any other help was not needed there.. the camels now got up nd both the guys held the girls' waist tighly as there was nothing else to take hold off.. After afew minutes when the camels weren't moving together Armaan decided to have some fun.. he started to blow warm air in Ridhhima's ear making her hiss nd melt in his arms..the movement of his palms on her tummy nd his nuzzling in her hair drove her over the edge.. she slightly turned to face him.. she was so high at passion that forgetting their surroundings she brought his face down to hers nd kissed him.. he replied with as much passion as he could nd they boh continued the kiss for several minutes.. after breaking the kiss Ridhhima was red with blush while only thing armaan could manage to utter was "oye hoye.." breathing heavily she rested her head on his chest nd they both remained in their love land..

While on the other camel the scene was different.. Anje was actually scared if height nd began to panic.. "Atul.. hum gir jayenge Atul.. oh no.." Atul tried to calm her down many times but failed so decided to distract her.. he planted a soft kiss on her shoulder that was bare due to her tube top.. feeling her shiver nd quiet he was tempted to do that again.. her soft skin felt so perfect to lips.. unable to control himself he trailed down a line of soft kisses on her shoulder while she just kept mum, feeling the moment.. As his grip around her waist tightened she came back to her senses.. "Atul.. ab bas.. plz…" huskily he said "didn't you like it.." "nahi vo baat nahi hai lekin.." cut in between by is naughty voice "nahi vo baat nahi hai.. means you liked it.. didn't you.." she just blushed nd gave no reply nd he knew what it meant.. Staisfied with her silencend bkush he finally planted last kiss on her temple ns sat quietly enjoying cool breeze nd Anjie in his arms..

"The food was really good.. Mrs. Gupta.. aisa laga jaise kahin bahar ka nahi balki jaisa roz Ridhhima banati hai waisa hi khana hai.. similar taste.." just as Padma was about to justify or change the topic Arav interrupted "Dadu mama kab aayengi..?.."  "kya hua Arav aapko yahan achha nahi lag raha..?" padma asked.. "Umm.. nahi Mrs. Gupta vo actually roz dinner ke baad Armaan aur Ridhhima Arav ke saath khelte hain.. bohot saari stories sunate hain.. jab tak vo so nahi jata.. that's a routine.." just then Mr. Mallik's phone rang.. he smiled looking at the caller's name nd said "Ridhhima.." as he answered the call Ridhhima told him that they're coming home in 10mins.  nd then they'll be going to have ice cream after picking up Arav.. Ridhhima thought that after her call Mr. Mallik must be waiting for them either outside gupta house or at Mallik house so she can avoid facing Dr. Shashank.. but she was wrong.. As they came Ridhhima requested Anjie to bring Arav at the gate but as she was about to go Mr. Mallik asked her to come in for a while.. "Ridhhima beta.. andar aajao.. Arav andar vale room mein hai.." she entered with a heavy heart nd instead of sitting she excused herself to get Arav.. "Papa main Arav ko lekar aati hoon.." after afew minutes she came back with Arav smiling in her arms when Arav said "Dadu.. main mama shaath ice ceem khane jala hu.." Mr.Mallik smiled nd added "okk beta.. tum log jao lekin plz be on time.. der matt karna varna mujhe fikr hogi.." "don't worry papa.. hum bas adhe ghante mein aate hain.."

As soon as they left Anjie called Atul Muski nd Rahul to Gupta place..

"Arre yeh sab kya ho raha hai..?.."  Mr. Mallik inquired nd Rahul replied "dad aapne har saal ki tarah kuch na kuch surprise plan kar liya hoga.. lekin humein bhi kal bhabhi ke birthday ke liye kuch sochna hai.." Mr.Mallik laughed ta Rahul nd said "you kids are lazy son.. maine to last week yahan aane se pehle hi soch liye thha ki mujhe Ridhhima ke liye kya gift lena hai aur kaise wish karna hai.. aur jahan tak main Armaan ko janta hoon.. vo jo ghar mein workers kaam kar rahe hain vo actually repair work nahi balki uski planning par kaam kar rahe hain.. aur isiliye aaj tumlog puri shaam bahar thhe.." rest of them were surprised "Uncle you knew everything nd you didn't even told us.." Atul said pouting "Atul.. vo Armaan ka pyar hai Ridhhima ke liye jiske liye vo ek mahine se planning kar raha hai.. tumlog kyun na Ridhhima ke liye ek party organise karo.. lekin it should be a SURPRISE.." "Gr8 Idea Dad.. I'll take care of the music.. muski guests ko invite karegi.. Atul will book for bhabhi's favourite food nd Anjie will take care of the decorations.."Rahul almost jumped off.. while Shashank's heart sank.. he didn't even remember that it was Ridhhima's Birthday tommorrow.. Truly it was Mr. Mallik who was Ridhhima's father now.. "Lekin guys.. decorations will be done it the lawn to Ridhhima ko pataa nahi chalega.." Atul said "nahi Atul.. bhai hai na.. his task will be too keep bhabhi busy till party time.." all of them started off in their works nd kept calling AR after a few minutes to now if they're about to be home.. when Armaan said that they're just 5mins. from home, everyone ran to their respective places nd kept in contact through phones.. for once  even Anjali forgot about shashank in all the excitement.. while shashank felt that he was losing his second daughter to Mallik's charm too..

Armaan was wide awake with his love sleeping peacefully in his Arms.. just as the clock struck 12 he planted a kiss on Ridhhima's forehead.. she slightly shuffled in her sleep nd snuggled closer to him.. He again kissed her head nd took out handful of rose petals from his pocket nd showered on her.. whispering "Happy Birthday Jaan.." she smiled nd kissed his cheek.. "Thank You.. hubby.. I love you.." still with her eyes closed "come on Jaan open your eyes nd take a look at ur unique cake nd first gift for today.." listening to him she quickly sat on the bed looking around.. there was nothing extra ordinary.. everything was simple yet special around her at that moment.. The room was filled with pink nd orange Orchids.. Armaan stood up nd brought this

 

"sorry Jaan.. maine jo ice cream cake order kiya thha na vo end time par Arav aur muski ke haath lag gaya nd before I can say anything they attacked on it.. so got this.. ur favourite ice cream.." Ridhhima was looking at him with lots of love in her eyes "I love you Armaan.. you did all this.. just for my birthday.." she then took the first bite nd took it to Armaan's mouth.. he had half the bite nd fed her with the rest.. they romanced, kissed nd chatted for sometime when Ridhhima said "Armaan this was my best gift..it made me feel so special.. thankyou.."  he kissed her temple nd said "Jaan.. you are special nd your first gift for the day is yet to be given.." surprised "Armaan abhi aur bhi kuch baaki hai..?"  "Haan jaan.. look at ur back.." when she turned she saw this

 

HE had kept it coz he knew she is so fond of soft toys. Flowers nd chocolates.. looking at it she had a sweet babyish smile on her face.. she kissed his check out of happiness "Thankyou Armaan.. its so cute.." she took it nd cuddled it like a baby just like Arav cuddles his favourite teddly winks nd bravo Armaan captured that expression in his mobile phone.. he came forward nd kissed her nose lightly "You're the sweetest nd the cutest baby I've seen ever.. I love you baby.."

cutely she said "I love you too.. you're the best husband nd an excellent lover, my love.. you're my life.." looking into his eyes.. With that after a long time she initiated the kiss without any hesitation or blush.. it was pure love nd passion that has taken over her.. surprised Armaan happily gave in to the kiss nd then went to her neck.. trailing down warm kisses on her neck, he came to her ear nd naughtily whispered "why can't we celebrate ur birthday everyday so that you can always remain in such romantic mood.." as blushed nd moaned lightly as he pulled down her gown from her shoulder nd left a love bite there.. as they were getting into the moment a light knock made them come back to the world.. Ridhhima adjusting her gown in place went to check the door only to find her half asleep son standing there "mama..kamle mein darr lag laha hai.. main aapte paash nini kal lu.."  she picked him up nd kissed his head with gr8 love "Haan beta.. aajao.. mama apne prince ko apne paas nini karayegi.." Armaan smiled at his perfect family nd held Arav as Ridhima settled on the bed.. as Arav got in between AR, Armaan said "Arav aaj mama ka birthday hai.. aap mama ko wish nahi karoge..?" he was still in sleep so he said what he was taught by Rahul.. "mama ka birthday kal shubah hai.. shubah uthke main mama ko kissi karunga.." Ridhhima felt really happy as Arav said all this being a kid he doesn't know that her birthday has startd so she once again kissed him nd patted him to sleep.. she simply adores him when he talks in his babyish language.. even a single word or a look from Arav is enough for her to melt.. just as Armaan was about to say something to Arav again ridhhima whispered "Armaan ab usse sone do plz.. uth gaya to royega.."

She lazily opened her eyes nd smiled at Arav who was sleeping hugging her tightly.. she carefully disentagled herself from him nd put his teddy in his arms kissing him lightly she went to freshen up.. as she came out she heard sound of violins flowing in the air.. she went to the window.. She had areally big smile on her face looking at the sight in front of her.. It was Jai mallik standing with a small box gift wrapped in his hands nd their were 10 people standing at his back nd playing violins nd they were only playing the birthday song..

Just as shashank came to his balcony to look for source of sound he saw Ridhhima happily running to hug Jai Mallik.. as she hugged him the music stopped nd he gave her the gift.. "Happy birthday to my princess.." he said kissing her forehead.. opening the gift she found in it keys but she jumped nd squeeled out fo happiness when he showed her the actual gift which was

 

"Wow..! I was so waiting for this car to be in the market.. Ferrari 10.. lekin papa aapko kaise..?" she looked at him "beta main apne har bache ko jaanta hoon.. ab cholo lets go for a drive.." as Mr. Mallik hopped in the passenger seat Ridhhima grinned nd zoomed off.. it was a cool car with gr8 speed.. nd yes she drove off with the gr8 speed leaving Shashank shattered.. "Happy birthday Ridhhima.. papa misses you.." he said with tears.. "itna miss karte hain ti usse vapas kyun nahi bula lete dad.. she happy today nd that's what you ever wanted.." Anjie said listening to Shashank nd witnessing the whole Ridhhima nd Jai Mallik's moment.. "Nahi Anjali.. yeh meri Ridhhima nahi hai.. Yeh Mrs. Mallik hai jo drive karti hai aur mujhse nafrat bhi.." he was in tears so he rushed to his room..

 
After a while when Ridhhima nd Mr. Mallik came back everyone was surprised.. "Wow.. what a cool car bhabhi.." Rahul exclaimed "Yup.. that was the one I was waiting for Rahul nd papa gifted it to me today.. Thankyou papa.. I love you.."

Mr. Mallik was happy seeing his daughter so happy.. then one by one all of them wished Ridhhima nd Ridhhima took Arav in her arms cuddling him nd loving him.. "good morning my baby.." he smiled at his mother nd kissed her cheek

"Appy bithday mama.." she kissed him overwhelmed by his cuteness nd babyish charms.. she kissed him nd said thankyou very sweetly too.. although she lives with him but still everytime he says something in his babyish tone she feels it as if he is talking for the first time..

"Okk bye guys.. so will my lady drive to Sanjeevni in he new car or should I do the honours..?" Armaan asked gently.. "Armaan aaj Sanjeevni jaane ka mood nahi hai.. see its so pleasant today.. seems like it would be raining.." she said pouting "Jaan Sanjeevni to jaana hai na.. see Atul isn't feeling well nd even muski will come late so we need to go na.." as she made a bad face.. "acha theek hai.. lets have a race till Sanjeevni nd after some time we'll go for shopping okk..?"

she acted as if she is thinking nd she quickly ran to her car saying "You can't win this time Dr. Mallik.." Armaan also ran to his car nd they started off.. within half an hour Ridhhima was at Sanjeevni.. she tried to act normal as everyone was looking at her coz of the supercool car.. she mentally kicked herself for getting a new car at work but then became worried as Armaan was nowhere to be seen.. she decided to call him "Armaan.. where are you..? you okk na..?" she asked in a worried tone to which he answered in a sulking tone saying  "Yes Jaan.. but my car broke down.. stupid Atul didn't tell me before that the car had heating problem since yesterday.." now Ridhhima was relaxed nd giggled loudly "so Mr. Mallik has lost a race.. well.. that's a news.." she said teasingly.. "dekhloonga basket tumhe.. lekin pehle baari uss atul ki hai.. achha I'll be there in a while okk.." she disconnected the call when she heard the announcement of her being called in Shashank's  cabin.. she sighed NOT AGAIN.. nd started to walk.. After 15mins. Shashank entered the cabin "Sorry Dr. Mallik.. an emergency call took my time.." "Its okk.. can we come to the point now.." he sighed nd in a very earnest tone said "Happy Birthday Ridhhima.." nd gave her the same soft toy he used to give her every year.. she was slightly surprised but said "I can't take this.. I'm sorry but yo're nomore my father, who used to be happy just by my smile.."

"What ever I did was for ur benefit Ridhhimaa.. I was concerned about you.. Armaan was never the man who could fit to ur dreams I thought.. you were so tender nd delicate.. I wanted you to be with same kind of a man.. who is loving nd caring.." after along time she felt it was the time to discuss so she started "Armaan loves me the most nd I don't need any proof for that.. I can see that in his eyes.. I have everything you ever wished for me to have after I get married.. then what is wrong in that.. everyone loves me.. cares for me.. nd papa takes care of me even more than Armaan or Rahul.. he is concerned about all the time.. what else.." she stopped when she saw out of the window of his cabin.. it was raining nd she was gazing outside.. looking for her distraction Shashank came nd stood beside her.. he saw Armaan at Sanjeevni's gate.. he got out of his car nd stood on his knees in front of a poor kid who was shivering with cold.. he took ot his own jacket nd covered the kid smiling at him.. rufflued his hair nd waved.. as he sat in the car to park it Ridhhima proudly faced Shashank nd said "Yeh hai MERA ARMAAN.. kya ab bhi aap kahenge ki Armaan loving aur caring nahi hai..?.. jo insaan kisi aur ka dard nahi dekh sakta , mujhe pata hai, ki vo meri aankh mein ek aansoon nahi aane dega.. vo mujhe apne aap se bhi zyada chahta hai.. aur ab uske bin zindagi main soch bhi nahi sakti.." she went out saying all this with NO rudeness nd only honesty in her voice.. while Shashank sat on his chair making her words sink into him.. "she is right I've not seen him neglecting my daughter ever since the time I saw them in London.. nd those videos I saw that day with Anjali were serene too.. Does he really love Ridhhima so much..? Am I wrong..?"

Shashank's chain of thoughts broke nd he was in tears looking at the chocolate on the table.. Whenever HE used to give Ridhhima a soft toy she always used to give him a chocolate.. nd there it was.. his chocolate for today..
