PART 9

A week has passed the marriage.. Now all the time AR & AA were planning stuff for Sanjeevni.. Atul was told about Dr.Kirti , the Hitler nd Dr.Shubhankar,  the Senior Doctor too nd all of them were laughing while Muskaan was lost in her thoughts thinking will she be able to manage without Rahul for TWO MONTHS..ND on the otherhand Rahul was planning sumthing completely different..

Next day while al were giving final touches to all the packing nd arrangement stuff, Rahul rushed into the house calling everyone excitedly.. Everyone quickly gathered around him, he looked at their faces Ridhhima, armaan, muskaan, Anjie, Mr.Mallik, shashank, Padma nd then again Ridhhima..

"Aap sab mujhe aise kyun dekh rahe hain..? poochoge nahin why am I so excited.." Rahul said excited again..

"I'd be leaving tomorrow for TWO MONTHS.. why on this Earth are you so excited..?" Muskaan asked sarcastically.. while others stiffled their giggles.. "Well'!" Rahul unrolled the poster in front of them, it had his huge pic nd below it was written "SINGING SENSATION RAHUL MALLIK PERFORMING LIVE IN MUMBAI FOR A 5 DAY CHARITY CONCERT.." leaving muskaan nd going around the world for his concerts was the last thing he wanted ever so he signed the contract for the 5 day concert in Mumbai as well so that even he can join them nd do his work as well..

"I should've known.. tu muski ke bina ek din bhi yahan nai tikne wala thha.." Armaan said with a smirk.. 
"Look who's talking..bhabhi se har ek ghante mein baat na ho to you get so restless nd here you're talking of the whole day.." Rahul said grinning back..
"stop it now you two.. Rahul I guess you'd love to help di in packing your bags..so get going okk.." Ridhhima said changing the topic nd hiding her blush.

Next Day Airport (London)

There was Mr.Mallik carrying Arav nd bidding bye to all of them..

"Thankyou Mr.Mallik..for helping us nd treating us like a family.." Shashank said in gratitude
"It was a pleasure Mr.Gupta..even our kids have got together really well.."
"papa..!" Ridhhima interrupted "papa apni dhyaan rakhiyega..I'll call up Steve everyday to enquire if you're having your food nd medicines on time or not okk.." she said authoritatively.. "Okk my princess.. nd you take care too..koi problem ho, just give me a call nd I'll be there for you.." turning to shashank he said "Mr.Gupta I need a favour.. aap please Ridhhima ka khayal rakhiyega..keep a check on her..she is really special to me.." before shashank could reply Armaan interrupted
"Dad..Ridhhima is not going alone..main hoon na uske saath..I'll take good care of your daughter okk.."
Atul came in too "Okk guys family re-union khatam flight ka time ho gaya hai.."

"Yes you guys should take a leave..I've booked the bunglow next to Gupta House for you guys okk.. nd the car will be there to pick you up.."

"Okk dad..take care" Rahul hugged Mr.Mallik while muskaan touched his feet nd hugged him.. "take care beta.." next was AR..  Armaan hugged him too nd ridhhima took his blessings nd hugged him.. "bye papa.." "bye beta..nd Armaan.." before Mr.Mallik could complete Armaan cut him saying "I know dad..i'll take care of ur princess..nd you take care too okk.."

Bidding their byes they left for Mumbai..Was it a new start or Will this trip bring back all the horrible memories back..? How will their old friends of Sanjeevni greet them..? Will their behaviour change towards them..? Will Dr.Shashank not play any other games with them..? Will they be happy..?

Were the questions going on in AR nd muskaan's mind for which they were curious to get the answers..

Mallik House (Mumbai)

As they entered they were satisfied.. Arav had a huge Garden to run nd play in with swings for him too' well set 4 bedrooms nd a lounge.. AR took Arav to his room while Ridhhima put him to sleep after a tierting flight Armaan freshened up.. RM were already off to sleep nd Atul was looking around the house nd the terrace nd went to freshen up too.. Ridhhima came to her room after instructing the servants about the food.. she quickly changed nd got into the bed with Armaan.. All of them were tiered nd needed only one thing a GOOD SLEEP..

While on the otherhand Shahsank was miles away from sleep.. People he ill-treated so much were now his nieghbours nd also the Inspection Team to his Sanjeevni.. he again had those insecurities.. What if Armaan plays any game..? What if Ridhhima answers him back infront of others in the hospital just to get back at him..? What if his second daughter also leaves him..?

Later that evening he moves to the window nd finds Armaan nd Ridhhima in the garden playing with Arav nd pampering him..Arav was jumping nd dancing while they were looking at him lovingly..THEIR SON.. Shashank felt a tinge of jealousy..Arav din't even knew he was his NANA.. While in a while he saw RM nd Atul joining them outside with coffee.. He felt bad nd cursed Armaan under breath for stealing away his daughter.. "She doesn't even look at him, she is no more affected by his behaviour rather Armaan has made her forget her family completely.." he thought

Scene changes to AR nf friends chatting

"So guys ab kya karna hai..?" Armaan asked.. "Karna kya hai inspection karenge aur tumhare internship ke din fir se jiyenge..In UR Style..' Atul said excitedly
"Aur shaam ko aap log mujhe aur Atul ko Mumbai ki saari special jagah ghumaoge..Done..?" Rahul asked "Done.." Ridhhima said smiling
"kitna mazaa ayega na fir se sab pehle ki tarah.." Muski said
"Haan aur Dr.Shubhankar, Dr.Kirti aur Anjie ko bhi bula lenge.. wat say..?"

 
They were excited for another new start.. Lets see if they make it or break it..!

PART 10

Next day Sanjeevni

"All the doctors immideately assemble in seminar room"

As all of them from seniors to interns gathered there Shashank informed them about the inspection but AR & Muski are a part of it, the fact was not revealed there'.

"I hope aap sab koi complain ka mauka nai denge..kyunki its about Sanjeevni's guture n your lives are related to it too.. they'll be here in an hour..you can get back to work now.."

After an hour

A black Pajero halted at the enterance followed by a sports bike.. Atul nd Muskaan stepped out of the car while AR got down from the bike to get a full view of Sanjeevni all over again.. All of them including Ridhhima were in their denims nd tees.. She has started to waer weterns often after joining in Drona.. Mallik family's support nd faith has made her mre confident nd outspoken be it any situation..In short she was still her cute nd innocent self but has also developed a few good qualities of Armaan's personality too..

Dr.Kirti , Dr.Shubhankar nd Dr.Shashank were there to welcome them.. Although Dr.Kirti nd Dr.Shubhankar were pleasantly syrprised seeing their favourite interns bak as most successful doctors but..but..but..Dr.Shashank was disgusted seeing all four of them in casuals.. He expected them to be formal in their behaviour as well as dressing in Sanjeevni but all his thoughts were shattered seeing them like this..

"Dr.Mallik I expected you to be in formals.. you're not here for any picnic.." he said in a disgusted tone only to get a curt reply from Ridhhima "Dr.Shashank Gupta..Doctors are know for their treatments nd not dressing sense..nd we are not here to fulfill your expectations rather we are here to see if you can come up to ours.."

As they entered all their old fellows greeted them warmly.. They used to miss all those stupid AR fights nd Muski's jokes but now they're happy to have them back once again..Ridhhima got many compliments on her new mordern look nd Atul was introduced to everyone too.. They were really overwhelmed to get such warm welcome..

AR decided to move around nd relive all those old loving memories they had at their special places.. they went to locker room nd as if it was destined as the entered Ridhhma tripped on a pen nd Armaan cuaght her asusual.. they were jerke out to the reality when they heard one of the Girls from the interns entering nd commenting "cute couple.." while one of the guy tried flirting with Ridhhima "hey gorgeous.. are you new here.. you want me to show you around.." "no thanx.. she can find her way herself.." Armaan said abit jealous "tumse kisne baat ki.. main to iss beatiful lady se baat kar raha thha.." meeting the guy's eyes "no thanx.. my husband can take care of me pretty well.." she replied sternly while he fumbled "h-h-husband.. you are married to him'?"

"yes.." they heard a distant voice.. It was anjie.. Ridhima nd Armaan hugged her while others were waiting for an intoduction of the people who were hugging their senior nd strict Dr. Anjali Gupta.. "Well interns yeh hain Dr. Armaan Mallik nd Dr. Ridhhima Mallik.. Inhone apni internship Sanjeevni se hi ki hai we were in the same year.. Dr. Ridhhima is my sister nd both of them are here as a part of the inspection team..." Interns were shocked especially the one who was trying to flirt with Ridhhima..

"Guys maukaan aur Atul kahan hain..?" "Di vo shayd canteen mein honge.. aap chaliye hum aate hain.." As AR turned to leave the guy spoke up.. "I..I'm sorry sir..Sorry mam.."

Armaan smiled at him "It okk yar.. humne bhi apni internship mein bohot masti ki hai.. to chalta hai lekin agar dobara meri wife ke saath flirt kiya to nai chodunga.." they left with a naughty smile holding hands.

Dr.Shashank's Cabin

"I'm not gonna tolerate this.. Agar inspection team hi itni ignorant hogi to junior doctors pe kya asar padega..?" Shashank mumbled to himelf in disgust.. He then called Mr.Jai Mallik to talk to him regarding this nd request him to talk to THEM..

"Members of the inspection team kindly meet Dr.Shashank in his cabin.."

within a few minutes all four of them were in his cabin. "hello Doctors.. I wanted to talk to you about the dressing code'" before he could finish Ridhhima cut him "I think we are already done with it in the morning aren't we Mr. Gupta..?" she stopped saying anything further as Armaan stopped her holding her hand tight nd nodding lightly..

Shashank saw this nd anger started to rise in him that how Armaan had a perfect control over his daughter.. Well that's what he thought.. "Well.. maine Mr. Mallik se baat ki hai iss bare mein nd it would be better if you talk to him.. you can use my phone.."

AR looked at each other nd Armaan took out his phone from his pocket.. As he was about to dial Ridhhima took it implying she'll talk. "Dr. Armaan' Sanjeevni mein mobile phones allowed nai hain.." Shashank said disgruntled "Dr.Gupta aapke rules aapke doctors pe imply hote hain humpar nai..coz WE DON'T WORK FOR YOU ANYMORE.. aur waise bhi maine jab internship ke waqt koi rule follow nai kiya to ab to.." Armaan said smiling carelessly.. This was the first time he has ever answered back to Shashank but his was enough second time from the morning.. He knew deep down how much 'his JAAN' gets hurt whenever Shashank had ever insulted him and that's the only reason she answers for him..

"How dare you Armaan.." Shashank fumed with anger listening to Armaan's careless reply.. Ignoring Shahsank's temper Ridhhima declared "Armaan papa se main baat karti hoon.." she dialed Mr.Mallik's no. nd put the phone on speaker.. Looking at Armaan's name flashing on the screen Mr.Mallik started "Armaan..how was your first day..Ridhhima is fine na..? nd what is this whole issue of your dress code..?" Ridhhima softly replied "Papa main Ridhhima bol rahi hoon.. humara first day is going gud..ppl are really friendly here nd I'm fine.. nd papa dress code ka koi issue nai hai.. Its just that this morning I nd di decided to wear casuals just like we go for Drona nd Armaan nd Atul bhaiya also wore the same while Mr.Gupta was expecting us to be in formals.. that's it.."

"okk so what do you want me to do beta..?" Mr. Mallik asked gently

"papa doctors ki pehchaan unke dressing sense se nai balki unki capability se hoti hai so I fin no fault in it.. Dunno why is Mr.Gupta thinking that we are creating a ruckus in here.." she said with a frown

"Its okk beta I undestand.. tum aajkal ke bachhe ho apni hi tarah se kaam karoge.. main Mr.Gupta se baat kar lunga.."  "Thanx papa..love you take care bye.."

"love you beta..you take care too..bye.." Disconnecting the call she smiled victoriously AT Shashank nd turned to leave while going out Muskaan asked "oye why did you say that it was yours nd my idea..?" Armaan smiled knowingly nd said "that's because Muski dad humein kuch bhi keh sakte hain par he can Forgive you nd Ridhhima for even commiting a murder.. isiliye to vo bilkul gussa nai hue.." As they left his cabin even Shashank heard nd understood what Armaan said nd was really in a BAD MOOD after whatever happened.. He thought Mr.Mallik being a professional himself would understand his point but he forgot that Ridhhima had a strong control over Mallik Family, she can make them do anything nd they'll do it for her happily..

Later that evening'

"kya hua guys itne tensed kyun thhe tumlog.. aaj pure din..?" Anjie asked confused

They told her whatever happened in Shashank's cabin.. They were actually worried coz  they thought that these ways of Shashank's reaction might create a doubt in Mr.Mallik's mind about THEIR RELATION which was hidden from him..

"Don't worry jaan.. nothing will go wrong..I promise.." Armaan said hugging Ridhhima
"Ya ridzie he's right.. acha tell me any plans for fun..?" Anjie changed the topic..
"Yaar me nd Ridhhima were thinking about visiting Kasuli for 2-3 days.."
"Kasauli..?" Anjie was confused
"Anjie wahan Shehnaz Bi rehti hain.. meri godmother.." Armaan said
"Di.. jab hum yahan se gaye thhe to I was 7.5 months pregnant aur aap to jante ho aisi halat mein travelling is not good.. Isiliye hum London jaane ki bajaye Bi ke paas chale gaye.. unhone unn do mahine mera bohot dhyaan rakha thha.." Rids smiled
"Oye mujhe bhi milna hai Bi se.. " Muskaan said (remember she left with AR nd she also lived with them in Kasauli for 2 months)
"main bhi chalunga tumhare saath.." Atul said excitedly.. though he was an Indian but has never visited India before so he was pretty excited to visit new places..
"Okk then its done hum iss weekend chalenge..taaki Anjie bhi hospital e free hogi aur Rahul bhi apni meetings se.. Done.."

"done.." All said excited 'Hmmm.. kitna mazaa ayega na.. hum sab saath honge aur Anjali bhi hogi.. pehli baar uske saath kahin ghoomne jaunga.. It'll be so much fun'" Next moment Atul kicked himself mentally for fantasizing about her again.. Since the day they've met it had not been a single night when he had not dreamt about her nd now he was even dreaming with his eyes open..

The Old Friends group has united again.. nd the next few days till the weekend went normally.. The inspection team was really loved by the whole Sanjeevni.. AR used to spend a lot of time either in their romantic hideouts or in Children's ward or in the caf with Interns or seniors.. After or Before Sanjeevni their gang used to roam about at the beaches, play basketball at their favourite court or sit nd talk for hour with everyone..

Meanwhile even Arav was having aball.. he used to have loads of fun playing with water nd mud at the beaches, making castles with his parents.. He used to run away giggling loudly in the middle of the game with the basketball which the gang was playing with, even making them roll with laughter.. nd He simply loved it when while chatting with her friends Ridhhima used to make him sit in her lap nd caress him to sleep..

While on the other hand Dr. Gupta's life was turning into a complete mess.. He hated Armaan for having such control over his staff.. The interns love him coz he even saved them from the punishment for the same deed(cake fight) for which Shashank suspended them in their internship..

*~*FLASHBACK*~*

Dr.Shashank's cabin

"Maine inspection team ke saare feedbacks padhe hain nd I assure you ke ismein jitne bhi complains hain yeh last honge.. aajse aap logon ke weekly rounds pe main bhi aapko accompany karunga.." Shashank said adressing the Inspection team so gently coz a few trustees were there too'

After the meeting they left for the rounds nd as they entered the caf a piece of cake came directly to Armaan's face.. Although the interns had stopped nd stood their as if waiting for their death sentence Ridhhima burst out laughing looking at Armaan nd Atul nd Muskaan joined her later even Armaan ran into fits of laughter as he remembered their time.. Finally he took some of the cake nd put in his mouth tasting it he said "Hmmm..yummy..mujhe caf ka black forest cake bohot pasand hai..abhi bhi waisa hi taste hai.."

"Sorry sir.." the interns muttered gathering all the courage they had while armaan very casually said "arre its okk yaar..maine'I mean humne apne internship mein exactly same harkat ki thhi.. bohot mazaa aya thha but we got suspended.. to iske pehle aapke dean aapko bhi punish karein I think all of you should get back to your work within 5 minutes.." They smiled thankfully nd left while Shashank was bound to question such casual behaviour'

"Yeh aapne kya kiya Dr.Armaan.. they should be punished.."

"I don't think so sir.. yeh unka break time hai vo jo chahe karein..aur aapki punishment kya hoti SUSPENSION LETTER YA AAP UNHE BHI BLACKLIST KARVA DETE.. Punishment se kuch nai hota Dr.Gupta.. Na mujhe pe hua na unpe hoga.." he was so serious while saying all this that none of the others pesent their be it Shashank or Ridhhima spoke in between..
