Abhimanyu
Tears dripped down his eyes - the God's eyes.
He wished he could hold him a last time. His heart ached everytime an arrow pierced through him, every time when blood oozed out of his nephew.
Abhimanyu - he was his nephew but he always loved him as his own son. Abhimanyu was barely two years old when the Pandavas gambled away their kingdom and went on their thirteen year exile; he was fifteen when they returned.
At the age of 16, he was prepared for the war against the Kaurava's.
"Can no one break this formation?" Yudhistir had asked when Guru Drona had attacked with the Chakravyuh.
"I can, Taatshri." Abhimanyu had revealed. "I know how to break into the formation, but someone has to come back to save me as I do not know how to break out,"
Yudhishtir promised to come to Abhimanyu's rescue once the army had escaped.
But they were trapped. The Pandavas were stopped by Jaydrath; unable to help their little Abhimanyu.
His youth trapped in a twisted web, his fate engulfed into flames of treacherous, he was soon weaponless, yet he roared like a fearless lion. His skin bled from every inch of his being, yet his eyes were filled with fearless valour. He fought like a real warrior, but then his knees hit hard on the ground and he fell down unto the dust. He was tired, all his strength was oozed out with his blood but he was great warrior Arjun's son. He would never quit.
He knew he was riding on the side of death, he used all the strength left within him and shielded himself with a chariot wheel. He tried his best to keep the enemies away who attacked him altogether; breaking the rules of the war.
Lord Krishna could see Abhimanyu getting stabbed and asking his uncles to tell about his bravery to his father and mothers.
Today, the God was helpless. He eases the pain of everyone. But who can ease his pain? The pain of losing the one who he loves, who he admires, God's heart was filled with grief today!
He saw Karna pulling Abhimanyu in a hug. He could see him praising his nephew, but the next second, he stabbed him.
Abhimanyu's eyes dropped down to an eternal sleep in Angraj Karn's arms and with a heavy heart, the Lord himself closed his eyes letting the tears to flow.
Abhimanyu would always symbolise courage, bravery and gallantry. - Lord Krishna declared to the world.
