Zaynah's home away from home

Television actors have some of the grueling schedules in the entertainment industry and it only makes sense that their rooms on the sets aka their second homes be made comfortable for them.

Havov Vastani, mother of Zaynah Vastani aka Antara of Zee and Drishtant Media's Aap Ki Antara took it on herself to make her darling daughter's alien-like room into a bright, lively and cheerful room!

Havov Vastani says, "When we were first allotted this room, it was very bleak and dull. Naturally Zaynah felt depressed and out of place. So I requested our Producer Monish Sekhri to at least give the room a fresh coat of paint, and he happily obliged. Then I asked him if I can paint over it. He wasn't very confident about letting me handle the brush but gave the nod anyways."

However the approval came with a condition. Havov tells us with a soft smile, "The Producer told me nervously you can paint whatever you want. Just don't mess up the neat work done already."

So Havov started working gradually from one corner of the room. She says, "When I was done with the pencil work many people did not understand it. But now that it's done fully, everyone's liking it!"

It sure is one marvelous work of art!
