YRKKH: Akshara takes a firm stand for Abhimanyu thus upsetting Kairav and Muskaan

He emphasizes his son's happiness and his reluctance to take away that joy, portraying himself as a compassionate father who refrains from punishing his child. Akshu expresses gratitude for his stance. She elaborates on Abhi's character, portraying him as a father in a difficult situation rather than a malefactor, drawing a distinction between him and a typical criminal. Her eyes well up with tears as she speaks. Akshu points out that Abhinav had custody of Abhir shortly before his unfortunate demise, suggesting that Abhi had no motivation to harm him. She aims to dispel the false accusation against Abhi. The judge decides to review the newly presented information and evidence the next day.

Manjiri and Kairav's doubts on Akshara's decision: 

Kairav voices his frustration towards Akshu, accusing her of manipulating the situation and tarnishing the reputation of doctors. She counters his claim, asserting that it's her personal choice to act as Abhi's defence lawyer. Flashing back, Akshu recalls a conversation with Abhi, wherein she expresses her desire to help him and acknowledges her previous misjudgment of him. The Goenka family departs, leaving behind a tense atmosphere. Abhi cautions against further conflict on his behalf. Akshu departs, aiming to mend the ruptures within the family.

Manjiri raises doubts about Akshu's trustworthiness. Abhi, however, places his faith in Akshu, commending her dedication to his cause despite her own personal grief. Kairav continues to challenge Akshu's faith in Abhi, demanding concrete evidence of Abhi's innocence. Akshu asserts that the proof is currently undergoing verification. Subsequently, Abhir and Ruhi make an appearance, expressing gratitude to Akshu for her efforts on Abhi's behalf. Akshu approaches Abhir, aiming to explain her perspective, but he remains resistant. This leads to a discussion among family members, reflecting their diverse viewpoints on the matter. Abhi is haunted by memories of Neil's death, causing him to realize that Akshu is fighting for him even after he failed to support her in the past.

Meanwhile, Kairav and Muskaan continue to debate Abhi's guilt. Kairav defends Akshu's stance, urging Muskaan to refrain from questioning her character. Muskaan counters, suggesting that Kairav's lack of answers regarding Abhi's innocence weakens his position. Tensions rise as they exchange words, and Muskaan exits the scene.
