Young Telly stars talk about International Youth Day!

Today is International Youth Day and we speak to some of the popular young TV actors about the same!

Only work and No gain for youngsters? No, now starting to work at a young age can get even more gains. Not that you miss out on the real spice of childhood, but it can be tasted even while you are shooting. Yes!

We are talking about the International Youth Day, a day to cherish the young talent, a day to appreciate the good about all youngsters. We, at TellyBuzz, have contacted a few young and talented actors who have started their career as actors at a very young age. Let's find out what they have to say -

Krystle Dsouza
Krystle D'souza, aka Jeevika of Star Plus channel's Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain

"To me International Youth Day means celebrating the future our youth has and the talent they possess because we are the tomorrow of this nation. I started working as soon as I turned 17. This has taught me to become more responsible and independent at a very young age. Earlier, I was very shy and quiet, even during the early days of shooting Ek Hazaron Me Meri Behena Hain since everyone was elder to me. I had no company on the sets since there was no one of my age group. In addition, everyone used to pamper me a lot and they used to get food for me from home.

However, I also missed many things since I started working at an early age. We were a group of five in college, but later it was only four. In addition, whenever my friends used to put up photos of them having fun on social networking sites, I felt left out and jealous too.

I do not have any idol from the industry as such. I believe that individuality makes you what you are and who you are. When you idolize someone, you unconsciously start following the footsteps of that person. I do appreciate the acting of Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor. When I started with my first show, I got all the experience to handle media and fame. By the time, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behena Hain happened, I was all prepared to face every situation."

Bhavya Gandhi, aka Tapu from Sab TV channel's Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah

"To me International Youth Day means respecting the talent of the youth and appreciating them internationally as well. Getting in the entertainment industry at a young age is really good and is all together a new experience. I have learnt a lot from everyone. Everyone has always treated me as their younger brother or son. I do not think that I have missed anything because I started working at an early age. I have done everything what a normal kid does.

I idolize Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan from the industry. Getting so much fame at my age makes me feel happy. People have started recognizing me and with just one serial I have got this popularity. I am very thankful to God and my parents."

Avika Gor, aka Roli from Colors channel's Sasural Simar Ka

"For me, International Youth Day is where lots of people represent the youth. New actors, new talent is appreciated. and this gives a nice feeling.

I started working when I was 8 years old and then Balika Vadhu happened when I was just 10 years old, and now I am doing Sasural Simar Ka. I feel proud to have got a lot of experience. This experience will help me shape a better future for myself. I believe, we should never stop learning and one should keep learning until you die.

All my seniors have always liked me and treated me well. Fortunately, I have worked with some really great people like Jayati Bhatiaji and Surekha Sikriji. They are proud to see my progress and how I have grown as an actor. From the industry, I idolize Sushmitha Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Kajol, Konkana Sen Sharma and Vidya Balan.

I have never felt that I am missing out on something. A kid who loves cricket will go to school, come back and play cricket. In the same way, I love acting. I go to school, come back and start shooting. I too enjoy with my friends and go out for dinner like normal kids.

I like the kind of recognition I have got because people appreciate my work. I have always got a good response. I feel people should keep loving and blessing me the same way like they have always done."

Rohan Shah, last seen as Gautam in Channel V's Humse Hai Life

"I think International Youth Day is all about celebrating and encouraging the power of youth and direct them in a good way. I am so blessed to have an experience of 13 years in the industry at such a young age.

It is my mother's upbringing that has helped me to be what I am today. My seniors have always appreciated my work. They have always told me to be who I am, to achieve great heights. I got ultimate support from them. Initially, for 10 years I did only ads and few movies. So, I have never missed on anything in my childhood as I grew. That experience is helping me now.

I idolize two people – Ranbir Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. Since the past 13 years, I have been handling all this love and recognition. I am very comfortable with the media and the also the love showered by the audience."

Abigail Jain, last seen as Sia in Channel V's Humse Hai Life

"International Youth Day is a good day to appreciate and inspire the youth. I really love my work, and if you love your work, you will definitely enjoy what you are doing.

I respect all my seniors and they have always treated me well. Everyone has pampered me a lot. I started working when I was 15 years of age. Yes, I do feel I have missed a few things. Once you start working, college does not happen at all. But, I made friends on the sets and we always had fun.

I idolize Ram Kapoor. I really love it when fans come and mention that they love me. They keep commenting on the social networking sites, their feedback and criticism helps me improve. I also keep interacting with my fans."
