Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi expresses her love for Armaan, but he doesn't reciprocate

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with Dadi, shocked, asking what Armaan (Rohit Purohit) is talking about. Armaan insists he will contact Abhira's (Samridhii Shukla) boss to request a replacement. Abhira protests. Vidya asks Krish to start the music, urging Armaan and Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) to go on stage. Sanjay notices Vidya's phones charging and turns them off. When Kajal tries to call, Sanjay intervenes, asking Krish for his phone to make an important call. He disconnects Kajal's call.

Ruhi and Armaan perform a dance to "Baaton Hi Baaton Mein." Abhira is in tears. Manisha tells her that Armaan is mistaken, but Vidya scolds Abhira and demands she leave. Manisha suggests Abhira speak with Armaan, but Vidya insists she won't. Abhira picks up her bag. As Armaan approaches the edge of the stage, he slips, and Abhira catches him. Ruhi and the others watch in shock. Ruhi begins to scold Abhira, who retorts. Amidst the tension, Abhira congratulates Ruhi on her marriage and leaves.

Dadi instructs Krish to take his siblings on stage. Kajal, unable to reach anyone, decides to go home. Madhav murmurs for the marriage to stop. Kajal, concerned, asks him to open his eyes and calls for the doctor. The doctor reassures her that Madhav is improving and urges her to stay and talk to him. She pleads with Madhav to wake up and stop Armaan and Ruhi's marriage.

Abhira confronts Armaan:

Abhira is on her scooter and falls, crying over her inability to raise money to save the resort. She receives an audio message from Kipling stating that he has secured the funds and will repair the resort, mentioning Akshara would be pleased. Abhira is puzzled about who gave 50,000 rupees on her behalf. Krish and the others perform to "Seene Ve Vich," receiving applause.

Armaan arrives there, and Abhira confronts Armaan, grabbing his collar and demanding to know why he fired her. Further, she demands to know if he was the one who gave the money and why he is helping her. Armaan reveals he cannot stand seeing her in distress, which is why he fired her. He confesses he feels pain seeing her suffer because he is burdened by her kindness; she had taken significant steps to save his parents' marriage and had done much for his family. He apologises. Abhira angrily tells him to stop and vows to return his money, rejecting his charity over love. She storms off, determined to leave the family behind, yet tears up as she recalls her moments with Armaan.

Abhira dreams of a happy marriage with Armaan:

She arrives at a cliff. Confused and hurt, Abhira dreams of a future with Armaan but comes back to reality upon seeing him embracing Ruhi. Heartbroken, she watches as Ruhi apologises for the drama, having anticipated Abhira's arrival. Ruhi has set up a special table for them and expresses her desire to spend the evening together before their wedding the next day. Armaan notices Abhira leaving and feels conflicted. Ruhi intervenes, expressing her love, but his response lacks the usual warmth, as he only mentions being happy for her sake. Sensing something wrong with their wedding just a day away, Ruhi questions him, pointing out his reluctance to say he loves her. Armaan, distracted, spots Abhira's name etched on a bench, prompting Ruhi to cry while he takes a drink.
