Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi aims to spoil Armaan and Abhira's wedding shopping by following them

Star Plus' longest-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to enthral viewers with its compelling drama. The latest storyline highlights Ruhi's efforts to create tension between Abhira and Armaan, even though Kaveri supports their marriage. Abhira is given the task of safeguarding Armaan's engagement ring, but Ruhi manages to steal it. Fortunately, Manisha uncovers Ruhi's deceit and cleverly substitutes the real ring with a fake one that Armaan had brought. This ensures that Abhira and Armaan's engagement proceeds smoothly. 

With the current focus on the Janmashtami celebrations, where Abhira is taking charge, the Poddar family will soon turn their attention back to the upcoming wedding preparations.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ruhi plans to sabotage Armaan and Abhira's wedding shopping. As the episode unfolds, Armaan and Abhira are on a shopping trip while Ruhi keeps a close watch on their future plans. As Armaan and Abhira shop, Ruhi arrives at the same mall. When Abhira spots Ruhi, she becomes infuriated and demands to know why Ruhi is following them. Ruhi retorts, questioning if the mall is exclusively for them and insists she frequently visits it.

In reality, Ruhi's presence is part of her scheme to monitor Armaan and Abhira. Ruhi ends up confronting Abhira and Armaan, causing tension. Armaan is also visibly upset by Ruhi's intrusion. Despite their anger, Ruhi remains focused on her agenda, determined to prevent their relationship from advancing to the wedding stage. The looming question that arises is if Ruhi's scheming will succeed or not.

Vidya seeks Kaveri’s approval for Abhira to handle it, and Kaveri decides to test Abhira’s responsibility to see if she’s ready for more duties post-marriage. Abhira applies for a loan, with Kaveri stepping in as the guarantor, which boosts Abhira’s confidence. Meanwhile, Ruhi doubts Abhira’s capability and feels anxious over a mistake with the card. An accidental collision between Armaan and Ruhi leads to Ruhi falling ill, which surprises Abhira, who briefly questions Armaan's honesty. Despite Ruhi’s discontent, Abhira and Armaan assist her back home.

During Janmashtami preparations, Abhira enchants the family with her bhajan performance, impressing everyone and stirring memories of Akshara for Ruhi. Manish questions Abhira about the song, and she mentions learning it at a temple. Abhira also asks Kaveri to let her handle the Janmashtami preparations to prove her skills. Kaveri agrees, and Armaan privately meets Abhira while Manish advises focusing on the decorations.
