Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Rohit urges Armaan to accept the baby, as he can plan for another later

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan insists that Abhira hand over Rohit's baby, revealing that the child belongs to Ruhi and Rohit. However, Abhira refuses to accept this truth. Armaan counters, stating that a baby isn't something Rohit can simply pass on to anyone. Rohit then urges Arman to accept the child. Despite this, Abhira remains in disbelief, accusing Armaan of choosing her over the baby. Armaan, overwhelmed, imagines a future without Abhira.

Back in reality, Abhira snaps Armaan out of his thoughts and asks him what he meant. She is filled with joy when she sees the baby holding her finger. Rohit explains that a baby clings to the finger of its mother, and even Armaan feels the same touch. Rohit shares in the happiness, witnessing the bond form. Meanwhile, Manish tries to wake Ruhi, convinced she's faking it. He urgently searches for Ruhi's baby, while Kaveri grows concerned after overhearing the nurse mention there is only one baby.

Rohit urges Armaan to accept the baby:

Rohit continues to plead with Armaan to accept the child. Armaan explains that he cannot betray Abhira, but Rohit insists, stressing that the baby shouldn't have to grow up without a mother. Realising the gravity of the situation, Armaan resolves to tell Abhira the full truth. Rohit warns him, asking if he wants to see Abhira fall into a coma, too. Armaan challenges Rohit, asking what he plans to do once Ruhi recovers from her coma. Rohit reassures him, saying that once Ruhi is stable, they can try for another child, but Abhira's condition makes it impossible for her to have more children. He presses Armaan to take responsibility for the baby, but Armaan feels he can never repay Rohit for this sacrifice.

Manish, desperate for answers, approaches the doctor, asking about Ruhi's baby. The doctor asks if neither Armaan nor Rohit has informed him, and just when the doctor is about to reveal the truth, Rohit steps in. He reveals the heartbreaking news that the doctor couldn't save their baby while Ruhi slipped into a coma. Manish is left stunned and in shock.

Abhira's emotional breakdown:

Elsewhere, Sanjay and Manoj distribute gifts to the less fortunate, with Madhav expressing his gratitude. Kaveri then reveals the tragic news to Madhav about Ruhi's condition. Meanwhile, Vidya begins preparations to decorate the room for Abhira and the baby, but Madhav tells her that Ruhi has slipped into a coma and the doctors were unable to save her child. Both Vidya and Manisha are overcome with emotion.

Kaveri later meets with Abhira and Armaan, and Abhira asks about Ruhi's condition,  unaware of what has happened. Sensing the tension, she insists on meeting Ruhi. Despite Kaveri and Armaan's efforts, Abhira steps out to meet Ruhi, suspecting something wrong. 

Meanwhile, Rohit speaks with the doctor, urging her to keep the truth hidden and not let it be revealed. The doctor, although not agreeing with his decision, tells him that since the child is his, it's ultimately his choice to make.

Abhira is heartbroken when she learns about Ruhi's condition. She is inconsolable, crying uncontrollably and pleading for Ruhi to wake up. In a deeply emotional moment, Abhira decides that she will share the responsibility of raising the baby with Ruhi in spirit. Abhira places her baby in Ruhi's cradle, gently asking her to trust her and wake up, as she needs Ruhi's help to care for the baby. Speaking to Ruhi, who remains in a coma, she expresses that while they'll take care of the nurturing, like bathing and taking the baby out, the responsibilities of diaper changing will fall to Rohit and Arman, urging her to wake up. Her emotions overflow as she watches Ruhi's helpless state, desperately hoping for her recovery.
