Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Rohit, not Abhira, catches Ruhi destroying the sweater

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidya is busy preparing kada, believing it will be beneficial for both Abhira and Ruhi's babies. As she thinks about babies, her gaze lands on the wool that Abhira had given her to knit a sweater. Feeling overwhelmed by the sight of the wool, Vidya struggles to maintain her focus on her task. As she tries to concentrate, a ball of wool falls to the floor, leading to her irritation. 

While attempting to pick it up, the wool gets tangled in her bangles. Frustrated, she decides to place it on the top shelf. However, when she opens the cupboard, the drawers fall out, and she wonders why nothing seems to be going smoothly today. As she bends down to pick things up, she discovers a tool for making the sweater hidden inside, prompting her to start knitting.

Meanwhile, Ruhi is on the lookout for Vidya and is shocked to find her making a sweater for Abhira's child. Just as Ruhi is about to ask Vidya to join her for a movie, she notices Vidya trying to conceal her sweater-making, which makes her upset. Ruhi pretends to be unwell, asking Vidya to prepare a healthy drink instead, and Vidya obliges. As Ruhi inches closer to examine the sweater, Rohit appears, having learned of her supposed illness. When he inquires, Ruhi insists that he focus on Armaan and Abhira instead of worrying about her.

Ruhi destroys the sweater:

Abhira is taken aback to see Armaan and Kaveri busy in her cabin. She quickly realises that they are also trying to knit a sweater for her baby, and she finds their efforts charming. She insists that Vidya will take care of it, but Armaan warns her not to get her hopes up. Abhira, however, maintains her optimism, stating that she won't give up hope. Kaveri then offers her blessings for Abhira and her baby.

After finishing her work, Vidya instructs Manisha to deliver the sweater to Abhira on her behalf. However, Ruhi, upon seeing the sweater, doubts Vidya's capability to complete it and decides to sabotage it. At the Goenka home, Manish tells Abhira that he has been praying for her baby and gives her prasad. Abhira decides to share the prasad with Ruhi, while Surekha advises Abhira not to let Ruhi keep her from visiting them. Abhira reassures everyone that she will make an effort to help Ruhi understand.

Rohit confronts Ruhi:

Rohit confronts Ruhi as he catches her destroying the sweater out of resentment towards Abhira's pregnancy. He questions her actions, and Ruhi retaliates by claiming that Abhira's mother has taken everything from her, and she refuses to let Abhira do the same to her child. Rohit asks if Ruhi is still fixated on the past. Ruhi expresses that she is entangled in many issues and doesn't want her child to be second to Abhira's. She bitterly recalls that she was supposed to bring an heir to the family, but Abhira has taken that chance away from her. 

Rohit is upset by Ruhi's attitude and points out that they could provide their baby with love instead of harbouring such negativity. As Ruhi attempts to leave, she stumbles, and Rohit catches her, urging her to focus on their own child rather than being consumed by Abhira's situation. He emphasises the importance of her health and the well-being of their baby.

Abhira is hurt:

Armaan takes Abhira out for a date, which surprises Manoj when he spots them at the same restaurant. Manoj's client declines to assign him a case, insisting that he isn't jobless, while Abhira encourages him to return to the Poddar firm, a suggestion he declines.

In another scene, Krish is seen engaged in a passionate dance while recalling past events, and he receives a message from Mountain Mouse. Elsewhere, Sanjay decides to take on a case involving a girl, but Kaveri doubts his ability to connect with her and suggests passing it to Armaan instead.

As the episode progresses, Abhira hopes that Vidya has indeed knitted the sweater for her baby. Rohit, overhearing her, approaches Abhira and Armaan, while Ruhi becomes anxious about whether he will reveal the truth. Instead, Rohit reassures Abhira that, if not today, she will certainly receive the sweater tomorrow or soon after. Abhira wishes not only for the sweater but also hopes Armaan can help rekindle Vidya's affection.

Just then, Ruhi approaches Abhira with a package intended for her. Abhira, thinking it's the sweater, is thrilled but is soon disheartened to discover that it contains sweets from her office team. Armaan comforts her with a hug while Rohit and Ruhi look on, and Ruhi is filled with guilt.

In the precap, Vidya and Kaveri discover that only one baby will survive. After Abhira admits she can't feel the baby, Armaan prepares to take her to the hospital.
