Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira refuses to apologize to Abhira after hurting her with Pookie's comments

Armaan and Abhira are no longer together, and they're living apart. Armaan wants to marry Geetanjali, partly to give his daughter, Pookie (Maira), a mom. He told Abhira their marriage was a mistake, so she's agreed to marry Anshuman. The wedding will likely cause a lot of drama on the show.

As reported earlier, during the chooda ceremony of Abhira, Maira wears a dress Abhira bought for her lost daughter, Pookie. Despite Maira's intentions to please Abhira, it backfires, causing a major argument. Abhira, hurt, tells Maira she's not her daughter and should leave. Armaan arrives to find Abhira telling Maira to go back to her parents, as she isn't family. Maira, deeply wounded, retaliates by taunting Abhira, accusing her of being a bad aunty and implying this is why her daughter, Pookie, abandoned her. Abhira is deeply hurt by Maira's words.

In the upcoming track, it will be shown that Armaan will suddenly come and lash out at Maira for her hurtful words. Not only this, he will demand an apology from Maira to Abhira. However, Maira, being overly hurt by Abhira’s behaviour, will deny saying sorry to her.

In tonight’s episode, Kaveri finds Abhira missing Pookie and encourages her to move on, suggesting she accept Anshuman. Simultaneously, she conceals the truth about Maira, fearing Abhira might reconcile with Armaan.

The story will take a dramatic turn with the revelation of Charu's death. Abhir, who was living abroad with Charu, will return for Abhira's wedding. He will be questioned about Charu, and he'll disclose that she has passed away, leaving everyone in shock.
