Yeh rishta kya kehlata hai: Maira gives Abhira a chance, Geetanjali gives her a month to prove herself

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is currently focusing on the emotional struggles caused by a decision Armaan made seven years ago. That one choice has deeply affected not just him, but also Abhira, their daughter Maira, and even his current fiancée. Both mothers, Abhira, who gave birth to Maira, and Geetanjali, who raised her all these years, are heartbroken. Stuck in the middle, little Maira is struggling the most. Armaan, too, is silently dealing with the hurt, believing that this pain is necessary so Abhira can rebuild the bond she once lost due to his mistake.

In the current track, for Abhira, reuniting with her daughter after seven long years is an emotional moment, but also a painful one. She is happy to have Maira back, but is unable to connect with her. Elsewhere, Maira is finding it difficult to adjust to her new life in Udaipur and still hasn't accepted Abhira as her mother. Even though she is now surrounded by Abhira and Armaan's extended family, she continues to miss Armaan and Geetanjali, the only family she has known. On the other hand, Geetanjali is unable to bear the pain of being separated from Maira and decides to travel to Udaipur to meet her.

But soon after, she finds herself caught in an intense emotional confrontation with Geetanjali. During the confrontation, Geetanjali challenges her by asking for one month to prove where Maira truly belongs. Abhira is taken aback by this sudden demand, but she agrees, putting Maira's happiness above all. Later, in a heartwarming moment, Abhira walks away with Maira, finally holding her hand with a smile of contentment.

While Geetanjali’s challenge might seem tough, the positive side is that we’ll finally get to see Maira slowly warming up to Abhira and giving her a chance.
