Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri warns Armaan against making his marriage issues a public tamasha

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Kaveri confronts Armaan, urging him to resolve his issues with Abhira privately rather than at the office. She questions whether she is failing to manage the firm effectively. Armaan expresses his regret over not being able to balance his responsibilities at home and work, feeling he has not lived up to being a good son or role model. Meanwhile, he examines a gift from Vidya.

As preparations for Vidya's birthday kick off, Abhira makes cake arrangements in the kitchen. When Vidya arrives, Abhira has Ruhi step in to bake the birthday cake, bringing joy to Vidya, who asks Ruhi to ensure that no unfamiliar faces attend her party. Abhira decides to keep Vidya unaware that she is behind the cake's creation due to Vidya's current distress.

Armaan alerts Abhira:

In a separate scene, Manisha instructs the caterer to exclude walnuts from the menu, but Abhira inadvertently adds them to the cake. Later, as Vidya drifts off to sleep, she senses Armaan's presence nearby. When Abhira continues her preparations for the celebration, Armaan halts her efforts, but Abhira persuades him to help with the planning, hopeful that Vidya will offer him the first slice of cake. Armaan, however, dismisses her optimism as mere fantasy.

Kaveri encourages Vidya to ask for a birthday gift, but Vidya doubts Kaveri can fulfil that wish. Kaveri pushes her to request something, and Vidya asks simply for Kaveri's love. Kaveri then enlists Madhav to help explain this to Vidya, though Madhav notes he has already tried numerous times.

Vidya continues the celebration without Abhira and Armaan:

As the Poddar family gathers to celebrate Vidya's birthday, Abhira watches with delight as Vidya smiles. Manish searches for Armaan and Abhira, but Vidya deflects his inquiries. Abhira urges Armaan to participate in the birthday festivities, but he chooses to remain distant.

Believing Vidya would be disheartened without Armaan at her celebration, Abhira watches the Poddars gather for the cake-cutting. Manisha suggests Vidya call both Armaan and Abhira to the party, but Vidya refuses. Soon after, Armaan discovers that walnuts have been added to the cake and rushes to prevent any mishaps. Vidya lashes out at both Armaan and Abhira for ruining her birthday. Manish questions her harsh treatment of them, to which Vidya firmly states that Rohit is her only son.
