Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri urges Vidya to attend Armaan's wedding like a good mother

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Ruhi inquires about Armaan's plans for them. He insists that everyone must know about their love. Ruhi expresses her worries that their families will oppose their reunion. Armaan believes it's essential to inform their families and unite for good, leaving Ruhi anxious.

Meanwhile, Kaveri feels frustrated with Abhira for running away from the wedding, worrying the guests will talk. She directs her anger at Abhira while Manisha starts blaming Ruhi. Rohit intervenes, defending Ruhi. Manisha accuses Ruhi of being upset about Armaan and Abhira's impending wedding, questioning her absence. Rohit stands up for Ruhi as Sanjay steps in, scolding both Manisha and Rohit for arguing and chastising Armaan for continuously leaving the wedding venue.

Armaan takes Ruhi's test:

Abhira searches for Armaan, and Manish asks Krish if they have located her. Krish replies negatively and questions Manish about Armaan's whereabouts. Manish urges Krish to hope they don't cross paths, warning it could lead to trouble. Abhira tries calling Armaan, but he ignores her. Ruhi tells Armaan that their family won't support their marriage. Armaan retorts that their families may not approve, but they would be willing to sacrifice everything for their love. As Ruhi grows more anxious, she pleads with Armaan to pull over.

Instead, Armaan drives her to a cliff, suggesting they end their lives together as a testament to their love. Ruhi begs him to stop, but he refuses, insisting they should die together. In a moment of desperation, Ruhi jumps out of the car, and Armaan drives off the cliff. Ruhi cries out for him, but he later returns, revealing that he staged the act to test her love. He chastises Ruhi for not grasping the depth of love, confessing his love for Abhira. Ruhi implores Armaan to marry her, but he resolves to end his life rather than commit to her, leaving Ruhi heartbroken.

Abhira finds Armaan:

Armaan decides to find Abhira and meets her, asking if she believed he had abandoned her. Abhira reassures him of her trust. Noticing Abhira's attire, Armaan begins to understand Ruhi's intentions. He exposes Ruhi's intention to Abhira, and she is taken aback when she sees Ruhi in the same bridal attire. The two of them return to the venue, leaving Ruhi alone, where she reflects on Armaan and faints, feeling devastated. 

Later, Abhira and Armaan make an appearance at the wedding venue hand in hand. When asked about Armaan's presence, Abhira advises Armaan to keep Ruhi's action a secret, assuring everyone that an issue had evolved, but they together sorted it out. Manish blesses the couple, while Vidya sheds tears, fearing Armaan might jeopardise his own happiness. Kaveri stops Vidya from leaving the wedding, urging her to accept that the wedding is happening. She encourages Vidya to be a good mother and join in the preparations for Armaan’s wedding, suggesting that she dress up as the groom's mother. Kaveri reassures Vidya that while Abhira may have won this round, their battle is far from over. Kajal mentions that the time for Armaan and Abhira's wedding has lapsed, prompting Abhira to question whether they should delay the ceremony.
