Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan confesses his love to Abhira, Faces REJECTION & wakes up next to Geetanjali

Armaan's confession to Abhira:

In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, emotions run high as Abhira confronts Arman and tells him that he now belongs to Geetanjali and should stop expecting anything from her. Arman responds by saying Abhira might lie to herself, but she can't avoid the truth when it comes to him. He admits that while they may have shared love, the timing was always against them. Abhira urges him to return to Geetanjali, but Arman begs her not to hurt him by taking Geetanjali’s name. Abhira stays firm and distant.

Unable to hold back, Arman finally confesses his love. He admits he made a mistake leaving her and Myra seven years ago. He praises her for taking care of his family in his absence and admits that his own insecurity drove them apart. He breaks down emotionally and asks Abhira to just tell him once that she still loves him — so he can find closure and move forward.

Abhira rejects Armaan:

Abhira, although deeply affected, decides to stay silent about her true feelings. In her heart, she still loves him, but she knows that admitting it would only mislead him. When Arman pleads again, she firmly tells him she doesn’t love him anymore. Arman refuses to believe her and accuses her of lying. Abhira lashes out, saying he can’t expect her love while living with Myra and Geetanjali. She tells him he’s fooling himself and emotionally manipulating her.

Abhira warns him to wake up from his fantasy, asking whether Geetanjali even knows what he’s doing behind her back. She urges him to let her go, stop giving Myra false hopes about a family reunion, and move on.

The confrontation leaves both Abhira and Arman in tears.

Armaan gets drunk & gets close to Geetanjali:

Meanwhile, at the resort, Kaveri shares with Myra that the guests have given wonderful reviews about the place and wants to share the news with Abhira. Myra stops her, suspecting that Abhira and Arman are having an important conversation. Later, Abhira returns. Myra asks if she was crying, but Abhira deflects the question, pretending to be happy about the reviews and ignores Arman completely.

Heartbroken, Arman drinks alone. In his drunken state, he starts imagining Abhira’s face in Geetanjali. Geetanjali misinterprets his actions and assumes Arman is expressing love for her. She closes the door and moves closer to him.

Elsewhere, Kaveri tells Myra the story of Dussehra — how Goddess Durga defeated Mahishasur, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil and the start of something new. Inspired, Abhira prays to the Goddess for strength to begin a new chapter in her life.

Armaan shocked to find Geetanjali next to him:

The next morning, Arman wakes up and finds Geetanjali sleeping beside him. She asks if he’s feeling unwell, then casually says they got close the previous night. Arman is shocked and refuses to believe her. Geetanjali insists they were together and questions why she would lie. Arman is left stunned and confused, unsure whether something actually happened — or if Geetanjali is making it up.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of DKP films. The show currently sees Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit in the titular roles and is expected to take a leap soon. However, an official confirmation on the same awaits.
