Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan and Abhira's closeness angers Geetanjali

Tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opens with Abhira sleeping beside Maira. In her sleep, she remembers her time in jail and the horrifying moment when she realised Jalebi had kidnapped Maira. Shocked, Abhira suddenly wakes up and, panicking, starts shouting Maira's name loudly.

Maira, standing right there, keeps telling her that she is in front of her, but Abhira, lost in fear, doesn't notice her and keeps searching the room. Still restless, she rushes outside while Maira follows behind, calling out to her.

Abhira’s Pain and Maira’s Concern

Abhira then asks Manisha if she has seen Maira. Before Manisha can answer, Abhira's anxiety grows stronger, and she hurries downstairs, still crying out Maira's name. Maira, upset, asks Manisha why Abhira can't see her, and Manisha tries to comfort her.

Elsewhere, Armaan thanks Abhir for extending support to Kiara during a difficult time. Abhira's frantic voice wakes up the entire family. The Poddars gather downstairs as Abhira pleads with them to help her find Maira, convinced she has gone missing.

Kaveri calmly reminds her that Maira is with her, but Abhira insists she is nowhere to be found. Abhira continues to beg Kaveri to organise a search, trembling with fear.

Kaveri reassures her that Maira is close by, but Abhira breaks down, crying that no one understands the seriousness of the situation and that her Maira has actually been taken away.

Abhira Confronts Maira

Abhira, still restless, insists that Armaan should be called because only he will understand her turmoil. When Armaan arrives, he gently asks Abhira to look carefully. She finally spots Maira standing there and immediately pulls her into a tight hug.

Overwhelmed with relief, she scolds Maira for wandering off alone despite her earlier warnings. Maira explains that she had been nearby the entire time, trying to get her attention, but Abhira wasn't able to notice her. Shaken, Abhira leaves the hall and shuts herself inside her room.

Meanwhile, Armaan explains to Maira that Abhira has become extremely protective of her and is haunted by the fear of losing her, even in her sleep.

Tanya and Krish’s Bond Deepens

Meanwhile, Tanya feels sympathy for Abhira's condition. Krish, however, remarks that Abhira's suffering is partly because she broke Anshuman's heart. He tells Tanya to stop overthinking, and the two share a tender moment together.

The following day, Tanya then bakes a cake, and when Vidya notices her cheerful expression, Tanya admits that she enjoys baking. Vidya quietly observes that Tanya and Krish's bond seems to be improving, but deep down, she worries about the unresolved tensions between Armaan, Abhira, and Geetanjali.

Later, Geetanjali offers to help either Tanya or Vidya, but Tanya taunts her, pointing out that Armaan still hasn't moved on from Abhira. She even reveals that Armaan had spent the night outside Abhira and Maira's room.

Vidya immediately comes to Armaan's defence, saying he was only concerned about Maira's safety. Just then, Maira asks Vidya to get ready because Abhira is about to come downstairs.

Abhira’s Emotional Breakfast

The Poddars dim the lights to give Abhira a warm welcome. Armaan advises everyone not to serve heavy food, as Abhira won't eat it. True to his words, Abhira rejects breakfast. Armaan then offers her cake, which she hesitantly eats with her hands.

Tanya, who had baked the cake for Krish, becomes upset, but Armaan stops her from making a scene. Abhira is overcome with guilt, but her family members—Armaan, Maira, Kaveri, Sanjay, Kajal, and Manisha—join in to ease her heart.

One by one, they start eating the cake with their hands, saying that food tastes even better this way and it reminds them of their childhood days. Maira sweetly tells everyone to thank Abhira, as it's because of her that they all got such an early and special breakfast. The family lovingly thanks Abhira together, making her feel a little lighter.

In that moment, Armaan notices a bit of chocolate from the cake smeared on Abhira's face. With care, he gently wipes it off with his hand. This tender gesture deeply affects Geetanjali, leaving her heartbroken.

Geetanjali grows envious of the attention Abhira is receiving. In frustration, she suddenly turns on the bright lights. The sudden glare frightens Abhira, and she rushes back to her room.

Armaan’s Plea for Kiara

Later, Manisha goes looking for Kiara. Armaan takes the opportunity to request Manisha to forgive her, reminding her that if she could pardon Manoj and Aryan, she should also consider giving Kiara another chance. He urges her to stand by Kiara before it is too late.

Precap for the Next Episode

In the precap, Kaveri suggests taking Abhira to Mussoorie, hoping that a change of environment will aid her recovery. However, soon after, Armaan is shocked to discover that Kaveri, Abhira, and Maira are all missing.
