Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara's song of hope revives coma-stricken Manjiri

Manjiri rushed to the hospital: 

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight begins with Manish and Kairav desperately trying to call the fire brigade. Dadi and everyone else in the room are fervently praying. Akshu manages to get hold of Abhir. In a rush, everyone hurries over to him. Manish turns to Aarohi and asks her to check on Abhir. Kairav anxiously inquires about Abhir's condition, to which Akshu reassuringly replies that he's fine. Mahima, meanwhile, examines Abhir and inquires about the whereabouts of Abhi and Manjiri. Akshu informs her that Abhi went to find her, which leaves Mahima quite concerned.

Moments later, Manjiri shouts for help, and Abhi responds, calling out to his mother. They finally locate each other, and Manjiri confirms her presence to Abhi. In the midst of all this, a girl named Simmi starts crying, and her mother instructs her to run outside. Abhi spots them and Simmi implores Abhi to save her mother. Her mother, however, insists that he only takes Simmi to safety. Manjiri continues to shout for Abhi, and he reassures her, urging her not to panic. Abhi successfully saves the lady and urges her to leave immediately, declaring his intent to save his mother. However, Manjiri's shawl or curtain falls off, and she begins to cough.

Manjiri's deteriorating health: 

Ruhi inquires about her father's whereabouts, and Abhir informs her that Dida didn't make it out. Kairav expresses his frustration that the fire brigade hasn't arrived yet. Akshu encourages the children to pray, and they all join in earnest. Abhi spots Manjiri, and their eyes meet. She calls out to him and then falls, causing some structure to collapse on Abhi. He desperately shouts for his mother, extending his hand towards her. Akshu arrives on the scene and screams for Abhi. He cries out for his mother, and she faints. Panicking, he yells for help.

Thankfully, the fire brigade and medical staff arrive, rushing to the scene. They swiftly evacuate Manjiri and Abhi from the building. Mahima examines Manjiri and reports that her pulse is weak, emphasizing the need to transport her to the hospital urgently. Abhi watches helplessly, while Manish and others look on in concern. Abhi desperately cries out for his mother.

Abhimanyu's anxiety: 

Manjiri is admitted to the hospital, and a tense atmosphere envelops the area outside the ICU as everyone awaits news of her condition. Abhi is visibly distraught, and he anxiously questions why his mother isn't regaining consciousness. The doctor explains that she inhaled smoke, and her brain's oxygen supply was compromised, warning that she could slip into a coma. Mahima expresses her denial, and Abhi steps back, gazing at Manjiri and recalling their past moments together.

Simmi and her mother arrive, and the lady expresses her gratitude to Abhi for saving her life. She mentions that Manjiri had been calling out to him, but he had chosen to save her instead, preventing their family from breaking apart. Simmi personally thanks Abhi and advises him to take care. Mahima, however, points out that he saved the lady but not Manjiri, blaming him for her sister's condition. Others in the group voice their opinions, with some defending Abhi for doing his duty as a doctor, while others criticize him for not saving his mother first.

Abhimanyu blamed for Manjiri's health: 

Kairav steps in to remind everyone that they owe their safety to Abhi and Akshu, highlighting that Abhi is a human being, not a superhero. Aarohi adds that while they are grateful, he should have prioritized saving his mother. Akshu reflects on the past as the discussion continues. Manish intervenes to stop the blame game, emphasizing that Abhi is a good son and a good person.

Parth arrives and challenges this viewpoint, asserting that Abhi isn't a good son and questioning his ability to handle hospital responsibilities. The doctor then instructs a nurse to prepare an injection, and Anand and Mahima anxiously inquire about the situation. The doctor delivers grim news, stating that the patient's condition is deteriorating rapidly. He warns of potential multiple organ failure and the possibility of her slipping into a coma. Everyone is deeply concerned, and Anand comforts Mahima. Akshu leaves the group briefly.

Akshara's music therapy: 

Meanwhile, Shivu, Abhir, and Ruhi fervently pray for Manjiri's recovery, and Dadi appeals to Kanha for protection. Akshu returns with a guitar and asks if she can attempt music therapy by singing Manjiri's favorite song. Abhi pleads for her to save his mother, and Mahima reluctantly gives her consent to the doctor's dismay. With only five minutes allotted, Akshu sits down, strums the guitar, and sings "Piya Tose." Everyone watches in anticipation as Manjiri begins to move her fingers, and Abhi ecstatically calls out to his mother.
