Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus continues to captivate its audience with its gripping drama. The current plot reveals Ruhi’s scheming attempts to create a divide between Abhira and Armaan, despite Kaveri’s support for their upcoming marriage. Abhira is entrusted with the responsibility of keeping Armaan’s engagement ring safe, but Ruhi cunningly manages to steal it. As the Poddar family prepares for the Janmashtami celebrations, they begin with a traditional pooja. Kaveri leads the ceremony, while the soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Abhira, is chosen to sing a devotional bhajan. This decision incites jealousy in Ruhi, who aspires to become the family's prominent daughter-in-law and Armaan's wife. Abhira performs the bhajan taught by her mother, Akshara, and her rendition of "O Kanha Ab To Murli Ki" captivates the Poddar family. However, the song also deeply affects Ruhi, as it is associated with her massi, Akshara, bringing back a flood of memories. Ruhi gazes at Abhira with tear-filled eyes, puzzled about how she knows this song.
