Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhimanyu & Akshara decide to go far away, New cast introduced

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight commences with Akshu departing from her home. Kairav and Muskaan approach her, expressing their desire to accompany her. Akshu inquires whether they'd go anywhere with her, and suggests they return home to protect the family from turmoil. Kairav insists on going with her, promising to talk to Manish. Akshu questions their intentions, and Kairav points out that their decisions are causing unhappiness among the family members. Akshu remains resolute, mentioning her promise to Aarohi to protect Ruhi. Muskaan reassures Akshu that they will care for Ruhi, hoping that Manish's anger will subside. Kairav emphasizes that they haven't spoken for six years due to a trivial reason, and he doesn't want to lose Akshu as well. Akshu pleads to be allowed to go, asserting that Ruhi deserves happiness and she can only have it if Akshu departs. Muskaan nods in agreement, and Kairav sheds tears as Akshu embraces him. He promises that she'll return soon, but she requests that her name not be mentioned in front of Ruhi. Their emotional conversation continues.

Abhi reflects on Akshu's loss and Manjiri questions him. Abhi believes Akshu needs him, as life and death are in God's hands, not humans'. He is determined to go to her, even though Ruhi also needs him. He reassures Manjiri that she and others will care for Ruhi, and he won't leave Akshu alone in her pain. On their way, Akshu and Abhir encounter Abhi, who tries to stop them. Akshu is surprised to see him and Abhi confesses that he needs her, as he's not as strong as she is. He pleads with her to stay with Ruhi, but she argues that he should be there for their daughter. Their emotional conversation revolves around their children and their love for them.

Meanwhile, Manish reminisces about a past moment with Akshu, where they exchanged gifts. He gifted her his father's watch, emphasizing the value of time spent with family. Manish is seen in anguish, breaking the brooch Akshu had given him. He laments his inability to handle Akshu and expresses regret for not being able to meet her again.

Abhir questions Abhi about why Akshu left, and Abhi reassures him that Akshu couldn't get angry with Ruhi. They discuss taking care of Akshu and the little baby. Abhi suggests going far from their current location, but Akshu agrees, acknowledging that Ruhi has lost faith in her. Abhi stands by her decision, and they plan to leave.
