Yami Gautam starrer ‘A Thursday’ to release on February 17

Yesterday, Pinkvilla exclusively revealed that Aditya Dhar's next film, Dhoom Dhaam, starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi, will be releasing in March. This upcoming action comedy pays homage to Mumbai's beauty. Additional information on another Yami film is now out and reports have it that the producers of A Thursday, have set a release date for the film. 

The film will release on February 17, which also happens to be a thursday. It will premiere on Disney+Hotstar and they will begin their publicity campaign from next week,

In addition to Yami, Dimple Kapadia and Neha Dhupia also star in the film, which is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The actress began filming for the film in early 2017 and resumed for the following schedule shortly after marrying filmmaker Aditya Dhar. 

She announced the completion of the shoot on Instagram on July 2021. She wrote, "It's never me... it's always a WE, with the best of teams. Bidding adieu to the most beautiful team and taking some fond memories with me from the sets of #AThursday,”

In September 2020, A Thursday was officially announced. "More than the weekend, this time, waiting for #AThursday”, she wrote on Instagram after learning the news. Meanwhile, Yami has Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's Lost and Amit Rai's OMG 2 in the works, both of which star Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi.
