Yami Gautam changes her name post marriage with filmmaker Aditya Dhar

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has officially changed her name across all her social media handles post her wedding with filmmaker Aditya Dhar. Now, she is using the name ‘Yami Gautam Dhar’. It is still uncertain when the name was changed, but it is presumed to have happened on Tuesday.

Yami is certainly not the only actress who has changed her name after the wedding. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had also changed their names on social media to handle post their weddings with Saif Ali Khan, Anand Ahuja and Nick Jonas, respectively.

Yami on Tuesday took to her Instagram handles and shared the new poster of her upcoming film Bhoot Police, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arjun Kapoor.

Previously, while speaking to the Film companion, Yami said that she and Aditya did not plan to get married, and it happened most beautifully. Summarizing her love story the Bala actress shared that their families were even happier when the couple decided to get married.

Yami Gautam and director Aditya Dhar took all of us by a sweet surprise when they announced their wedding on social media. The duo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh in presence of only family members on June 4.

An Instagram page with the name ‘Wedding Blogger’ revealed that Yami wore her mother Anjali Gautam’s saree for her wedding day. She also did her own makeup as she opted for a simple look and completed the makeup with red lipstick and vermillion (sindoor).

On the work front, Yami will next be seen in the horror-comedy film 'Bhoot Police'. The Pavan Kirpalani directorial also features Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Kapoor. She will be seen alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur in the forthcoming film 'Dasvi'.

She is also set to headline 'Lost', the upcoming investigative drama to be directed by filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
