Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar become parents to a baby boy; name him 'Vedavid'

Yami Gautam and her husband, filmmaker Aditya Dhar, are overjoyed as they welcome their first child, a baby boy named Vedavid. The happy news was shared by Aditya on Monday, May 20, along with a heartwarming note on his Instagram handle.

Sharing a picture denoting 'akshay tritya' as a day and the significance of the baby's name, he wrote, "We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible. As we embark on this beautiful journey of parenthood, we eagerly anticipate the bright future that awaits our son. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation. 🙏???."

Yami Gautam was quite active, throughout her pregnancy. Remarkably, she even shot for her movie "Article 370" during her first trimester. She proudly debuted her baby bump at the trailer launch of the film, with her supportive husband by her side. Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar tied the knot on June 4, 2021, in a simple and intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh, their home state. Their love story began when they worked together on Aditya’s directorial debut, "Uri: The Surgical Strike."
