Music! Who on Earth doesn't love it? Music is an integral part of each one of us' lives and our Television shows are no behind in encouraging the spirit of music by showcasing some of the mind blowing musical sagas.

So on the occasion of World Music Day today, we list down few musical sagas on television that have touched the chords of the audience with their amazing storyline.

Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil (Star Plus) - This was a musical romantic saga that focused on the love-hate relationship between Abeer (Pearl V Puri) and Meher (Asmita Sood). The show became a rage amongst the youth with its amazing numbers. The show's track - Jhuki Teri Palkon Mein went on to become a big hit.

Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai (&TV) - A musical saga based on the rivalry between two sisters Kalyani (Amrita Rao) and Ketki (Aditi Vasudev) takes you to the era of retro music. The tracks of the show often treat you with some soothing music, taking you back to the retro era.

Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan (MTV India) - Love, Friendship and Music was the soul of this show. The show that revolved around the love story of Manik (Parth Samthaan) and Nandini (Niti Taylor) created a rage amongst the young audience' with its musical element.

Swaragini (Colors) - Though the show has now turned out to be an out and out family drama but we can't forget the musical connect between the two sisters Swara (Helly Shah) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar) on the show. Even though they were bound to be apart from each other because of their family pressure but somewhere it was music that connected them.

Kumkum Bhagya (Zee TV) - Rockstar Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) has truly won hearts of one and many. Music is Abhi's soul and life. However, this show too drifted from its concept, turning into another love-hate relationship story.
