Will experimentation on TV be easier for the next two months?
Will no TRP for the next two months be a boon or bane to the creative team?

With no TRP charts for two months will the
creative team be able to put in better quality work? We have after all heard
numerous complaints from writers, directors and producers that often they are
compelled to make uncalled for drastic changes to the track after they receive
the TAM ratings every Wednesday. Will they experiment more qualitatively with
the tracks for two months at least?
Maybe for two months we won't be seeing discordant changes to the track like a positive character turning thoroughly evil or sudden generation leaps which are often done to garner more TRP but sometimes just makes the show less artistic. Hopefully during this no TRP phase good shows won't be axed just because they are faltering in TRP.
Sammeer Arora, whose last show on TV was Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat, has written Teri Meri Love Stories and is writing two upcoming shows of Cinevistaas feels, "Yes, no TRPs surely will give more scope for experimenting and it's time to try and be adventurous with storylines and tracks- the audience is evolving and so should we."
Producer J.D.Majethia also feels that the quality of work will improve. He explains, "I hope this change works for the betterment of the industry as creative people will get enough time to follow their conviction and will also be able to judge how good or bad their conviction/ talent/ gut/ experience has worked after two months when the ratings of all these weeks will come together. That will bring in a correction in the current working scenario. I hope and wish the outcome is progressive for the content creators."
Writer Mrinal Jha who is currently the Creative Producer of Qubool Hai feels that this span of two months will be positively relaxing for writers. She says, "Writers will be able to perform better during these two months as they will have less pressure. After two months those who are in shows which are getting good TRP will get a pat on their backs and the rest have to face the music."
This brief recess from TRP isn't however really affecting Producer Kinnari Mehtaa. She explains, "It really doesn't matter to me as our show Rab Se Sohna Isshq anyway has a bank of a month. We surely won't experiment within these two months, rather we will stick to the conviction of the show."
Hitesh Kewalya, writer of Humse Hai Life and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? however doesn't think that the creatives can experiment much. He explains, "It's just for two months after all that the TRPs won't be coming. Nobody will want to see their show getting poor TRP at the end of two months. Ultimately the TRP will come after two months so the creative team members will always be on their toes. Maybe we can experiment slightly with the track, however we can't do anything drastic. If we didn't get TRPs for an extended period then of course we would be able to experiment."
Shobhit Jaiswal, writer of Punar Vivah is of the opinion, "Writers will surely get the creative freedom for these two months. However this in a way will be confusing too as we won't be knowing as to how our shows are exactly doing. After two months real and good content will be the winner. The shows which are not performing well may be suddenly be taken off air. So when we get the TRP after two months it may be a rude shock or a pleasant surprise."

Punarvivah will definitely rock. It has a good story line. If u have a good story, u don't have to do any compromises. Along with the story, it has the most handsome hunk of Tellywood- Gurmeet Choudhary.
