What If TV Shows had titles from Books..!
On this great day, lets marry the two worlds..

"A book is a gift you can open again and again" said Garrison Keillor and all can unanimously agree. The modern scenario has always been criticized, about the youth not being readers and being watchers otherwise. Fortunately, the love of reading hasn't faded away completely. Even today, we hear about magical words like 'a million copies sold'.
On one of my favourite customised days, Book Lovers Day, I want to present you the best of both worlds. We make spoofs and sketches on literal translations of TV show titles, but being the anomaly that I am; we thought if TV show titles had titles of existing books.
Disclaimer- The names chosen are strictly based on literal translation and not the actual concept of the book/show.
Ek Duje Ke Vaaste- 'Made For Each Other' by Kailas FarkadeHow much more literal can this one be! The popular show 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' is portraying the journey of friendship-to-love in a non-cliched way. Kailas' 'Made For Each Other' is a biopic, where the synopsis indicates that the author had similar traits to that of Namik Paul's character, Shravan.Saath Nibhana Saathiya- 'Togetherness' by Cyndi Dale, Andrew Wald with Debra Evans
When an intuitive healer, a psychotherapist, and a non-fiction writer come together for a venture, the 'togetherness' is contagious. And that is what 'Togetherness: Creating and Deepening Sustainable Love' is all about. Though, 'Saath nibhana Saathiya' continues to portray Gopi's (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) struggles, we believe ultimately, it's about the saath of your saathiya.Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai- 'The Science of Relationships'
Well, many of us are still wondering what exactly, Yeh Rishta KYA Kehlata Hai?'. Thanks to Akshara (Hina Khan) trying to be the perfect one and please everyone, she could well be the author of the book, 'The Science of Relationships' which is actually a collective edition of logical answers to questions about dating, marriage, and family.Tashan-e-Ishq- 'Fighting For Love' by L.P. Dover
While Fighting For Love is more like a metaphor, where the protagonist struggles to maintain his balance towards love and his Mixed Martial Arts career, the title is totally apt for 'Tashan-e-Ishq' where the trio, Kunj (Naman Shaw), Twinkle (Jasmine Bhasin) and Yuvraj (Zain Imam) keeps having a tashan towards each other for love.Yeh Hai Mohabbatein- 'This is Love' by Samuel Koranteng-Pipim
Another obvious and literal translation, but 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is more plural. Though Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) keeps fighting different situations, her eternal love with Raman (Karan Patel) is what makes their mohabbatein an example.Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki- 'The Promise' by Nikita Singh
These two may have totally different backdrops, but the motto remains the same. Be it reincarnation drama or fighting all sins and evil to not forget the promise of love, it is the promise of love' that matters.Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi- 'Shades of Love' by Beverly A. Rushin
Not only are these two extremely popular, but they are probably one of the most real stories you can come across. The show 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' portrays the bond of love and the struggle of a mother to let go of her son; while the Shades of Love is about two lovers struggling with a raging whirlwind seeking change and conquer love.
What is felt in a book can probably be never felt on celluloid, but nevertheless; both worlds are blissful.
On this Book Lovers Day, grab a book, read those pages and travel through serenity.
