The highly anticipated film, "Welcome to the Jungle," directed by Ahmed Khan, is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year. Officially announced in 2023, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast and promises to deliver an unforgettable action-packed experience. Recently, reports have emerged that the Mumbai schedule of the film has been successfully completed, featuring a massive action sequence involving 200 horses.
As per reports, the filmmakers orchestrated an impressive action sequence that required nearly 200 horses and skilled horsemen. This ambitious scene, which took seven days to shoot continuously, is expected to be a visual spectacle unlike anything seen before. The safety of all the horses was meticulously ensured during the filming process, with horses brought in from stables across Mumbai, Mahabaleshwar, Lonavala, and other locations.
The shooting took place on a grand set spread over ten acres in Mumbai's Film City, reflecting the film's big-budget production. The cast and crew dedicated over 40 days to this schedule, wrapping it up a couple of weeks ago. They are expected to return to Mumbai in a few weeks to film additional scenes. In the meantime, the actors are busy with their other professional commitments.
One notable change in the cast is the exit of Sanjay Dutt, who had initially joined the film but had to leave due to health issues. Dutt managed to shoot for only one day at Madh Island before deciding to step away, as his role required extensive action sequences which he was unable to perform.
"Welcome to the Jungle" was initially announced with a unique video featuring the cast performing a cappella, creating a buzz among fans. The film, presented by Base Industries Group, is set for a theatrical release during the Christmas week on December 20, 2024.
