Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has recently made headlines for his alleged involvement in the assassination of politician Baba Siddique and for issuing new threats against actor Salman Khan. According to News18, Jani Firefox Film Production is set to release a web series titled Lawrence - A Gangster Story, which will delve into Bishnoi's life and criminal career.
The Indian Motion Pictures Association has approved the title, and the series is expected to chronicle Bishnoi's transformation into a notorious gangster. Despite being incarcerated since 2014, Bishnoi is known for managing a significant criminal network both domestically and internationally.
Amit Jani, the head of the production company, expressed his intention to captivate audiences with a dramatic narrative grounded in reality. Jani has previously produced projects based on true events, including A Tailor Murder Story and Karachi to Noida. The specific events from Bishnoi’s life that will be portrayed in the series remain to be revealed.
Meanwhile, security measures around Salman Khan's residence have been intensified following new death threats that demand an extortion payment of ₹5 crore. Mumbai Police reported that a threatening message was sent via WhatsApp to the Mumbai Traffic Police, urging Khan to “end his long-standing rivalry with Lawrence Bishnoi.”
The message, allegedly from someone affiliated with Bishnoi's gang, warned: “Don’t take it lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and resolve his conflict with Lawrence Bishnoi, he will need to pay ₹5 crore. Failure to comply will lead to consequences worse than those faced by Baba Siddique.”
This development comes on the heels of Siddique's assassination on October 12 in Mumbai, for which four suspects have already been apprehended.
