Wasn’t awkward doing the steamy scene with Simba; we’re great friends & thorough professionals: Mahekk Chahal

Colors’ show ‘Naagin 6’ has kept the fans intrigued and curious about the upcoming episodes. Pratha is back to take revenge in the disguise of an NRI female named Kiara. The show saw the biggest twist of all time with actress Mahekk Chahal and Simba Nagpal turning negative. There’re a lot of mysteries still to be revealed and fans can’t wait for the same.

In the previous episodes, Mahek and Rishab share a cozy and romantic moment. The sequence was beautifully shot with Mahekk oozing elegance and stunned the audience. She was seen flaunting her hourglass body in a satin outfit which surely left the viewers mesmerized. Mahek and Rishab’s chemistry was fiery.

India Forums got in touch with Mahekk and asked about the sequence and the experience of shooting the same, she said, “Well, when you have to do a steamy scene with your co-star or anything like that, you need to be extremely comfortable in your own skin and also have immense trust on the Director. My director who choreographed the sequence did it in a very beautiful and classy manner and we both understood what we need to do. Apart from that, I share a great comfort level with Simba. We’re great friends and even gel along well off-screen. We understand each other better and as actors, we’re always open to discussions and talking it out if at all something gets uncomfortable. I don’t think I can be uncomfortable or awkward around him given the fact that we’re good friends".

She added, "A lot of people feel that doing a steamy scene is a big deal, however, that’s not the case with me. I think scenes that are more emotional and intense are sometimes nerve-wrecking and requires preperations. For steamy scenes, they’re more like dance sequences as they’re also choreographed and that’s how Simba and I approached the sequence”.
