Vivek Agnihotri shares a cute memory from Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli's initial dating days

Vivek Agnihotri who is busy with the promotions of The Bengal Files spoke about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on The Raunac Podcast. He said he was once a neighbour of the Bollywood actress. Vivek Agnihotri said that Virat Kohli is an amazing cricketer with a very stylish game. He also spoke about the time when he had started to date Anushka Sharma. It seems Anushka Sharma and he lived in the same society. He moved out of the place, and even the couple do not live there anymore. But he said he is good friends with the actress’ father as well as her dog.

He said Virat Kohli would often come to meet her. It would be obvious as the kids would behave crazy knowing he is there. It seems they would run behind his car. He said this is the only memory he has of Virat Kohli. Vivek Agnihotri said he has not met him ever personally, and that he does not watch a lot of cricket. The Bengal Files is made on the events of August 16, 1946 when riots broke out all over West Bengal. The movie is centered around the Noakhali Riots.

The grandson of Gopal Chandra Mukherjee or Gopal Patha as he was known has objected to The Bengal Files. He said that the legacy of his grandfather has been tainted by the movie. It seems he has filed a case in the Bowbazaar Police Station against Vivek Agnihotri. He said his grandfather has been shown as a violent man when the history was completely different. It is said that he organised his men to ensure that Calcutta did not fall into the hands of Pakistan. Gopal Chandra Mukherjee died in 2005 and his family has alleged that the movie has done disservice to his memory. They maintained that he was not anti-Muslim.
