Vishal Aditya Singh on journey in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, bond with Varun, meeting Sidharth and more

Vishal Aditya Singh has been creating quite the buzz as he has made his way into the finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. While the finale is going to take place on the coming Sunday, the finalists have been enjoying the love from the fans and viewers of the show so far. Competing along with him, are Divyanka Tripathi, Arjun Bijlani, Shweta Tiwari, and Rahul Vaidya.

India Forums got in touch with Vishal for a quick conversation and here's what the actor had to say about the journey, the highs and lows, and more.

How has the journey been so far?

It is amazing and I am extremely happy. When you reach the finale of any reality show, or a sports show, you feel really good, because you have the feeling that you have done something and reached here. There were many hurdles, my journey has been full of ups and downs, but it has been equally fun, as I was given a chance to prove myself at every single point.

You made a comeback to the show after elimination, how was it?

I saw the fan reaction and everyone felt that they did not want to get eliminated, but it happens. And after that, I had a lot of tension because it was one between Aastha and Sourabh. I knew that I don't want to go back, and given that they are both strong, that was something that was my concern.

Who else would you say deserves to win the trophy if not you?

I would say that all 4 of them deserve it, and throughout, it was Varun Sood for me. So now, 5 people who have come here, all of us are winners because everyone is deserving, there will be some task where someone will falter. No one is an expert in every single task. I might be great in all tasks, but I don't do well in water, but Arjun for example, is great at those tasks. Divyanka ji is good with animals and heights, with momma (Shweta), she is claustrophobic, but she manages to do everything, so all 5 of us are great.

We found television's Jay-Veeru in the form of you and Varun. How did that bond come about?

Whenever I hear this, I don't know what to say. Varun is a very nice person, and he is also very sorted. Being the kind of person he is at this age is a big thing, and he is also ambitious. I love all these qualities, and that is why I adore him. I don't know what he likes in me, but we still are competitive with each other, that we both want to do better, but this is only on the field, not behind the camera, and I have respect about that as well, and we aren't insecure about each other, so this bond will go on for a long time.

The recreation of the pan incident from Bigg Boss 13, did grab a lot of attention. Madhurim Tuli also shared a video about it. Your comments?

I did not have any conversation with Madhurima about it, and I did not have any reaction, we are two different individuals, she has the right to have her own reaction. I just felt that whatever happened has happened and what is happening right now is simply fun and games. Something has happened, and you did something which was not very small, people are going to remember it, so that is about it.

You spoke about meeting Sidharth Shukla before his untimely demise, how did it come through?

I don't want to publicize my emotion every single time, and it is very personal to me. Neither of us were in touch with each other, and there was no connection after Bigg Boss. After the stunt, I got a call from Sidharth and he told me how it was very nicely done stunt, he wanted to appreciate me and told me I couldn't have done that stunt. I felt really good, because it was a really big thing for me. We decided to meet sometime soon, and we did meet, and we were together till 2-3 in the night and soon after that, the unfortunate incident happened. I was in shock because why did this happen, especially when our ways were different, and maybe it wouldn't have mattered as much if we did not meet (Sidharth was also a very carefree person), but I am still in shock about all of this.
