Vir Hirani, the son of renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, is poised to make his acting debut in a theatre play titled Letters From Suresh. Directed by veteran Feroze Abbas Khan, the play explores the intricacies of human relationships through the medium of letters.

A recent graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Vir has been involved in filmmaking since his teenage years. He made his directorial debut with the short film Return Gift, which premiered at the 18th International Children's Film Festival of India in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Rajkumar Hirani is enjoying the success of his latest film Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film addresses immigration issues and is named after the term "donkey journey," which describes the perilous paths people often take to immigrate.

In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, and Anil Grover in supporting roles. This film marks the first collaboration between Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan, and it has been a box office hit, grossing nearly Rs 500 crore worldwide.

Looking ahead, Rajkumar Hirani is also involved in several upcoming projects, including Made In India, for which he is one of the writers. He is set to co-write another film starring Aamir Khan, alongside Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Abhijat Joshi.
