Well, We all know that Bollywood is a progressive industry. By adapting new things day by day, understanding the change of taste in audience and globalization, has made Bollywood move towards it's advancement. And it has delivered us with some mind blowing films. And one of them is the anthology, "Bombay Talkies".
"Bombay Talkies" was the collaborative film of four short films by four different directors, which includes, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee. The movie shows the influence of bollywood on peoples lives, by perspective of four leading directors.
Now talking about the second installment of this anthology, Karan Johar has roped in Vicky Kaushal, who was last seen in "Raman Raghav 2.0", and this film will be a Love and Lust themed film. Vicky, will be seen sharing screen with Kiara Advani and senior actress Neha Dhupia.
Vicky was first introduced to us by Neeraj Ghaywan, in a movie named "Masaan", and after showcasing his acting talents, he again got to play lead in Anurag Kashyap's "Raman Raghav 2.0". Other than this Vicky has been chosen to play a pivotal role in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt Biopic, and Meghna Gulzar's Raazi opposite Alia Bhatt. And now he has confirmed that he has been choosen for Karan Johar's short film.
Speaking of the same, he said, "I am thankful that film-makers such as Raju Hirani and Karan Johar are showing trust in me. It feels good when a film-maker like Meghna Gulzar trust in you. and I am very grateful in getting these opportunities".
Karan Johar's short film will go on floors in the first week of December, and will be wrapped up in a week.
