Vicky Kaushal humbles himself before Aamir Khan: ‘There can be no other Bhuvan than him’

Aamir Khan, who famously played Bhuvan in the 2001 sports drama Lagaan, recently shared his thoughts on who could take on the iconic role if the film were remade today. Aamir did not hesitate in naming Vicky Kaushal for the role. “Vicky Kaushal, I think he has that quality of Bhuvan, dignity, strength, inner strength, steadiness, and integrity. He reflects all of that very naturally. He is a great actor,” Aamir said during the interview.

Vicky Kaushal responded on Instagram, expressing gratitude while acknowledging Aamir’s legacy. “There can be no other 'Bhuvan' than Aamir Sir… but such an honour to get such kind words from the master himself. And what an amazing in-depth interview by you @komal.nahta Sir,” he wrote.
