Veeir Chaudary on challenges; Favoritism overshadows talent

Actor Veeir Chaudary believes the long-standing idea that one must move to Mumbai to pursue a career in showbiz is changing with time. For him, opportunities are no longer limited to one city, as the industry itself has expanded across India.

Sharing his thoughts, Veeir said, “I’m in Delhi and can easily find roles for myself from here. With time, things are changing. Shows are being filmed in many parts of the country—be it Kolkata, Pune, Chandigarh. So, it is not important to change your location permanently. Even if I’m shooting in Mumbai, I travel and stay till my shoots end and then return back.”

The actor further explained that while Mumbai is still considered the hub of the entertainment industry, his creative journey is not restricted to that city. “From Delhi, I manage to get work with the help of technology. At the same time, I’m constantly traveling for shoots. Today, I am working across many states—Chandigarh, Mathura, Jaipur, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, and more—where I am trying to create powerful and diverse stories. Balancing Delhi, Mumbai, and other locations has given me a wider perspective as a storyteller,” he added.

On facing challenges

Veeir also opened up about the challenges of the entertainment world. According to him, genuine talent sometimes gets overshadowed by favoritism or lack of opportunities. He also highlighted how quickly audience preferences are evolving, creating added pressure for creators. “These challenges push us to innovate and raise the standard of storytelling. I see them as motivation rather than setbacks,” he shared.

Current work and projects

At present, Veeir Chaudary is part of the project Hotel Honeymoon Deluxe. The story follows a newlywed couple who check into a luxury hotel, only to get trapped in a dark conspiracy orchestrated by the staff. What begins as a romantic getaway soon turns into a frightening fight for survival, adding layers of suspense and thrill.

Apart from his latest project, Veeir has made a mark in music videos with tracks such as Chhaill Chhabila, Bhaicharra, Jhootha Nikla, Hisaabb Howega, Dhumma, Bhagaat Albelaa, and Shahi Khanddan. He has also showcased his acting skills in Bollywood films like Uvaa and Bhouri.

With his talent and adaptability, Veeir Chaudary continues to explore opportunities across different platforms and cities, proving that passion and hard work matter more than location in today’s entertainment industry.
