Vandana Pathak to join R.K. Laxman Ki Duniya

Tellybuzz was the first to let out the hot news about Dharmesh Mehta co-producing the series 'R.K.Laxman Ki Duniya' with Hats Off Production which will see esteemed actors like Atul Parchure and Swapnil Joshi playing vital roles. But the latest we hear is that Vandana Pathak who is still remembered for her loud portrayals of 'Meenakshi' in Hum Paanch and 'Jayshree' in Instant Khichdi will portray an important character in the series.

"The show will see a 'common man', played by Atul Parchure in the lead whereas Vandana Pathak will essay his wife, together they have a daughter. Swapnil Joshi will be one of the family members from the common man's house. The shoot for the show will start by early November although the photoshoot for the show has been done," states an insider.

We contacted Vandana Pathak who merrily confirms, "Yes, I will be essaying a pivotal role in R.K. Laxman Ki Duniya. But further divulging about the show will not be good on my part so the audience has to wait."

Well, the show looks more promising with this new member joining the cast.
