Vaishali promised to meet me soon; guess it’s not going to happen: Rohan Mehra on Vaishali Takkar’s suicide

The industry is still trying to come to terms with the death of Vaishali Takkar. The actress was found hanging at her Indore residence this morning. Vaishali has been a part of projects like ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ among others.

India Forums got in touch with Rohan Mehra who was a part of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ while Vaishali too played a cameo. Since then, Vaishali and Rohan maintained their friendship. The shocking part is that Rohan spoke to Vaishali only two days back.

In a conversation with India Forums, Rohan said, “I’m still unable to believe it. Somewhere I’m wishing it’s not true. I spoke to her a couple of days back, on Thursday to be precise. I was at Hina (Khan) Di’s house and she had messaged. We had a fun chat and she stated that she would soon visit Mumbai for shopping. She was set to get married soon. We used to catch up often. We were supposed to meet recently on a cruise but things didn’t materialize. She said she’s meet me soon, didn’t think even in my wildest dream that it will never happen. Like is so uncertain”.

When asked about Vaishali’s deteriorated mental health, Rohan said, “She was going through a rough phase and was seeking help from professionals but since a couple of months she seemed completely fine. She was happy for her marriage and also told me that I’ll have to attend her wedding at any cost and I’d told her that, that goes without saying. Our friendship grew thicker in the past one year. She had taken a spiritual turn and would speak about things like positivity and manifestation. She used to explain me these concepts”.

He added, “Everything seems so uncertain all of a sudden. I don’t want to talk more about it”.
