Udit Shukla: My return to 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' will be a cameo

Actor Udit Shukla, who earned immense popularity for playing the role of Kiran Sawant, a villain in the popular TV show 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein', reveals his current comeback in the show will be a cameo.

He said: I know my audience is happy to see me back and hope I'll be more villainous this time, but I wish to let them know it is just a cameo to bring the protagonists Savi (Bhavika Sharma) and Ishaan (Shakti Arora) closer. But yes, my role will still have a powerful impact on the storyline, and they will see me going over the board. They will see me torturing and confessing to my wife Harini (Ankita Khare, who essays Savi's sister), who is in a coma, and this will also bring her back into consciousness, and she will expose me."

The actor who is carrying a bad boy image on screen for playing negative roles says this year ahead, he looks forward to playing a hero in a TV show.

He added, 'I enjoy playing a negative role. I never get bored doing it or ever feel type cast, as every time I act, there is a new journey and a new personality. I'm open to playing negative roles, but if given an opportunity, I will wish to play a hero in a show."

Udit was seen in the TV show 'Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein' and has also acted in shows like 'Dhhai Kilo Prem' and 'Rangrasiya', among others.
