SAB TV, the channel associated with comedy on TV has given us a larger variety of shows and fans have a loyalty towards shows that have been running since times immemorial. However, some shows have run their course and the channel will soon see the end of two shows.
Partners, the Johny Lever, Kiku Sharda and Vipul Roy starrer that was a series of cool cameos and comedy sequences will soon bid adieu as it gets pulled off air. The show was lacking somewhere in garnering the right numbers. At the same time, Shrimaan Shrimati, a show from the 90s that held nostalgic value for viewers came back with the reboot. But, revival of iconic shows sometimes don't work out. This is precisely what happened with Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se. The show starring Suresh Menon, Prasad Barve, Sucheta Khanna and Barkha Sengupta will also be going off air soon.
The two shows will be ending by the end of July and we hear that Partners will be replaced by the upcoming show, Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga. Both shows are to give way top fresh content on the channel and we cannot wait to see what's next in store.
