TV stars share their crazy memories related to Valentine's Day!

As the preparations are in full swing to celebrate the love day which is Valentine's Day, here are some of our celebs who share their memorable moments related to this special day. 

Anas Rashid who play Suraj in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum: "I got to know about Valentine's Day when I was in the college and during that time only 'Dil Toh Pagal Hai' movie was released. One day, we felt that some chaos is happening in my college so I came down with one of my friend from my hostel to see what's happening there. I saw that few guys were following two girls and those girls said, Humare yahan tumhari daal nahi galne wali; tumhe nahi pata ki kuch bolne ke liye haath mein phool bhi hona chahiye!' Later when I got a flower, I started following that girl and gave the flower to her and introduced myself to her and then I ran away from there. After 3 months, that girl came to me while I was in the market with my friend. That girl came forward and said "Hi Mohammad" as she did not know my name but only knew that I am a Muslim guy. She asked me if I was the one who gave flower to her that day. It just reminded me of that day and I felt embarrassed and didn't say anything to her. That was my first and last Valentine's Day memory which I can never ever forget." 
Devoleena Bhattacharjee who plays Gopi Bahu in Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya: "I never had any Valentine but one girl of our group had her Valentine so we used to go along with her and help her to buy gifts and make special plans on the Valentine's Day. The rest of the girls of our group used to buy gifts and flowers to give to each other. This was little crazy for us but I would celebrate Valentine's Day properly with my Valentine someday." 
Shashank Vyas who plays Jagdish in Colors' Balika Vadhu: "There are some parties who are against the celebration of this day and they ask the couples to leave the parks and other places if they find any of them together. So, when I was in school, I noticed one guy, who was opposing the couples for celebrating this day but in the evening he and his girlfriend were seen enjoying the drive on his bike. So, we clicked a picture of him and started blackmailing him; just for fun. There are such people who actively show that they are part of such parties during the day to oppose this V-day but in the evening, they themselves roam around with their girlfriends." 
Vrinda Dawda who was seen as Taani in Channel V's Dil Dostii Dance: "I remember that during my college days, me and my close friend planned to go out for a dinner on Valentine's Day but we finally end up having it at home because the place used to be not vacant at all in any of the restaurants that day." 

Mohit Malik who plays Samrat in Zee TV's Doli Armaanon Ki: "I had a funny memory of last year's Valentine's Day. I wanted to surprise Additie by gifting a ring. I kept that ring on the bed with proper decoration but later I came to know that one of my friend had already revealed my surprise to her so, we just laughed a lot. This Valentine's Day I have taken an off to take Additie out and spend time with her. It's going to be her day only and everything will happen according to her wish."Manas Shah who was last seen as Amit in Sony TV's Amita Ka Amit: "I definitely remember the celebration of my first Valentine's Day when I was in the college in Ahmedabad. I had a big crush on one of my classmate whose name was Amrita. I bought exact 143 (which represents I love you) gas balloons (red and white color) for her. With an idea to write something special on each balloon that why I like you and by giving that I wanted her to release all balloons in the air so that all my wishes for her come true.

Hence I gave the order for the balloons to one balloon wala and asked him to be on time once my college studies get over. He was on time but I guess destiny was not in favor of me and on that day, bin mausam barsaat hui and the weather became so bad that nobody came to the college and my plan failed. Since then, whenever my friends see balloons, they won't miss a single chance to tease me on that for sure. Whenever I think of that incident, I feel like laughing. The kind of effort I had put in and the entire planning, excitement went in vain. I just can't forget that but those memories make me smiling." 

Ridheema Tiwari who was last seen in Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan: "Valentine's Day was a big festive event in school and all of us used to make plans for it in advance. I was a shy girl in school but I have always made sure that I expressed love to my best friends and family. I did receive lots of roses and cards from admirers but would never carry them home because I was scared of my Mom and Dad. I remember an incident where after a cricket match, we all entered the class and one of the most shy girl of our class, proposed to a guy from our gang who was least expecting it, hence was bowled over by the girl's gesture. We started teasing them and gave them nicknames. Every valentine we do call that classmate and tease him by her name and he still smiles and blushes. 

The day holds importance to people who don't express love while I believe that one should express love to the beloved as and when possible. It bridges up the gaps which are caused by misunderstandings, arguments and bad days." 

Siddharth Arora who plays Ishaan in Zee TV's Doli Armaanon Ki: "When I was in 8^th or 9^th std; I used to like a girl in my school who was senior to me. My friends pushed me to express my feelings to her. So, one day, I bought gifts and cards for her and followed her bus with my bike till she reached her home. I gave the card and gift to her once she got down from the bus and she liked it. After 1-2 months, she introduced me with her boyfriend and whenever she had to meet him, she used to say in her family that she is going to meet me and then I used to make them meet. Now, they both are married and I am happy for them." 
Sheetal Dabholkar who plays Jyoti in Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir: "I was shooting on Valentine's Day and didn't get time that day. So, my husband came silently in my make-up room and decorated the whole room with roses and heart shaped balloons. What an unexpected and a beautiful Valentine's Day it was for me!"Shakti Arora who was seen as Onir in Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta: "For the first time in my life, I had proposed a girl through one of my friend. She took a lot of time to give me an answer because she told me that I will ask all my friends and will let them meet to you and I will say a Yes' to you, only when they will like you too. One day, she came along with her 10-12 friends to meet with me. We were at a self-service' restaurant, which I didn't know. I was sitting there along with my friends and her friends were also sitting and analyzing me. Suddenly, her friends got up, went to the counter and bought some coke and some eatables. They came back and offered us also so unaware of the fact that it's paid by them; we were happily drinking coke and eating. If I am proposing her then it was my duty to order things and pay for it. Later on, their behavior changed towards me but the girl said a Yes' to me so I became very happy. Later, I had to listen a lot from her that I made her embarrassed in front of all her friends; you should have paid for it. Thankfully she was there with me for few months." 
Neha Saxena who was last seen in Sony TV's Amita Ka Amit: "I have always studied in a girl's school and college so; I never had conversed with boys that much. Whenever I used to get flowers from any guy, then I used to feel too shy to accept it so I had never accepted any. I had one of the best valentine days with Shakti last year, which had been my best too and we both were shooting that day. He told me that he won't be coming as he is too tired. I was too sad that day that we couldn't even meet on this day. He called me up in the night before 12 AM and asked me to come outside the set. I went outside and I saw him with a cake. We kept the cake above the car, cut it together and then he sang the song Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye' song for me. I got tears in my eyes and it was a very special moment for me on my first Valentine's Day with him."
