TV actors seek measures from the new government to curb the problems.

As the Election across the nation is gripping, we are looking forward to the new government which will sort out our problems. Here are our TV actors talking about the problems which need to be taken care off.

With the Election fever mounting up, everybody is eager to know which party will form a government. As our expectations are rising from the new government, our TV actors talk about the problems in our country which needs to be solved out effectively.

Jennifer Singh Grover who plays Kumud in Star Plus' Saraswatichandra says, "Education is India's greatest leveler and its redemption. It's the best investment we can make in our youth and in our future. So, it's obvious that the priority of the next government should increase the literacy rate so that they can afford a better standard of living. A lot of students from small towns have to shed the comforts of their homes to seek quality education outside which more often than not leads to a struggle. I believe whichever government comes to power, ensuring that there is access to good quality education across the country should be its primary agenda."

Deepika Singh who plays Sandhya in Diya Aur Baati Hum says, "Women now-a-days step out of their home in fear that something unfortunate will happen to them, and even if it does, instead of receiving support from the authorities, they are subjected to more trauma. What this nation desperately needs is to impose more stringent laws and action for crimes against women and to create a clean and caring system, one such initiative is the One Stop Rape Crisis Center'. Whichever government comes to power should make sure that women feel safe & secure in their own country."

Neelu Vaghela who plays Bhabho in Diya Aur Baati Hum says, "I think shortage of power is a major concern across a vast landmass of our country. An emerging economy like ours needs to have the basic amenities of power & electricity available across all villages, towns & cities for all of its industry to be competent and prosper. It's a letdown that even in the 21st century even some of our major cities suffer power cuts which last for hours. I think fulfilling India's energy needs is of vital importance."

Manasi Salvi who plays Avantika in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara... says, "Having robust infrastructure is the need of the hour. There is no dearth of hard working and talented professionals in India who are burning the midnight oil to transform the fortunes of themselves as well as that of the nation. The government needs to reward its citizens with good infrastructure. Also by infrastructure I don't mean just super advanced tech parks or gigantic highways, infrastructure in the grass root level like providing hygienic sanitation facilities for women in public places is equally important."

Disha parmar as Pankhuri on the set of Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara PyaraDisha Parma who plays Pankhuri in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara... says, "I want to see a wave of positive change with the new government. We would like to see them support new ideas and technologyAdditionally encourage young entrepreneurs and extend an equal opportunity to all without any gender biases."

Ye Hai MohabbateinDivyanka Tripathy who plays Ishita in Ye Hai Mohabbatein says, "Child Labor is a dreadful reality that has plagued our nation. Just imagine the atrocities a child has to go through when the innocent years meant for learning, playing, growing in the comforts of loved ones are spent in the harshness of labour.  Children are the future and need to be nurtured and educated so that they can grow to be the leaders of tomorrow. Eradication of child labor is of utmost importance to the nation as an incomplete and troubled childhood paves way for an unhappy society."

Digangana Suryavanshi who plays Veera in Veer Ki Ardaas Veera says, "I would like the new government to work towards eliminating inequality. Two-third of Indians work as farmers and live in dismal conditions. They are faced with trade barriers on whom they can sell to. If growth is the mandate, the agricultural economy has to be liberalized and producers set free. Because when farmers and rural industries have access to a steady income, they will invest in improving productivity. That, in turn, will push everybody into building a country where all citizens are equals."
