While the nation was gearing up to bring in Christmas celebrations, yesterday a heart wrenching tragedy happened, affecting almost everyone. Popular TV actress Tunisha Sharma committed suicide on the sets of Sony SAB show 'Alibaba: Daastan-E- Kabul'.
India Forums broke the news about Tunisha Sharma passing away after allegedly committing suicide at the sets of her show 'Alibaba: Daastan-E-Kabul'.
As reported by us, Tunisha ended her life in Sheezan Mohammed's room. Sheezan plays the lead role in the same show. As per reports, the actress wasn't in the right frame of mind since a few days.
Tunisha's mother has filed a complaint against Sheezan and police has detained him for further investigation. While sources claim Tunisha was pregnant, the investigating officers denied the buzz until the autopsy report comes out.
Shezaan will reportedly be in the police custody for four days while he was taken for the court hearing this morning.
Tunisha's uncle who was a father figure to her interacted with media and revealed many details about the case. He said, " Tunisha stayed with me for around one and a half year during lockdown period and was a daughter to me. We were pretty close and chatted over calls several time but I wasn't aware of the happenings in her life. What I know from her close ones here from Mumbai is that she was stressed since a couple of days. She had informed her mother and a doctor about being cheated and going through issues. I don't want to blame anyone, I'm sure the official authorities are doing investigation and who ever is responsible in the matter should be punished".
When asked about Sheezan's involvement, he added, " As I said, I can't say much. He is being questioned and is apparently hiding a few things. Their phones are with the police team and I hope they find out the truth".
He added, "Tunisha's mother is in a deep shock. She is on medication and we're doing whatever we can and be with her. Her last rites wouldn't happen today. It can take place tomorrow or day after tomorrow as one of her aunt stays abroad and wants to attend the last rites".

Now would be a great time for middle aged, half-dead producers to stop casting girls, literal girls, in romantic roles opposite men double their age and experience. Let kids be kids please. The entire industry is culpable for exploiting young girls and driving them to this point. It's a damn shame.RIP Tunisha, you deserved all your dreams and joy. This is for Pratyusha, this is for Shweta Basu Prasad, too. Every woman in this industry deserves better
