From ancient times, nature and humans have always been intertwined. Well, why not? We are part of nature and its magnificent beauty after all! Moreover, our legendary poets and writers have left no stone unturned in trying to capture nature's extracts in their writing. You guys might be wondering if BollyCurry is giving you free lectures on nature and its history! No way!
Our
famous
Bollywood lyricists from yesteryears have penned some really splendid
lines connecting nature with humans, that were given life and soul
through music and
presented to you in the form of some heart-capturing melodies. Today, we at BollyCurry,
bring to you a few from those many songs that were created for scenes where
a character was described through nature and its beauty.
Yeh Chand Sa Roshan Chehra
This romantic and enjoyable composition belongs to the film Kashmir Ki Kali and is pictured on Shammi
Kapoor flirting with the beautiful Sharmila Tagore. Remembered for his
beautiful and prevalent recordings, Mohammad Rafi is the voice of this song,
thus making it a classic. Penned by lyricist Shailendra, the song was composed
by O.P. Nayyar.
Lal Chaddi Maidan Khare
A lively young man played by Shammi Kapoor meets the charming Sapna,
played by Rajshree, during his casual vacation in the movie Janwar. Adding spice to their romance was this tune composed by
Shankar Jaikishen and sung by Mohammad Rafi. The movie was mostly known for its
musical numbers and this song is one of the finest of them all.
Chehra Hai Ya Chand Khila Hai
From the film Saagar, this is yet
another evergreen song by R D
Burman that was sung by Kishore Kumar and written artistically by Javed Aktar. It was
widely known that Kishore Kumar's voice was the perfect voice for Pancham Da's
creations and most of his compositions are sung by him. Featuring Rishi Kapoor
and Dimple Kapadia, the song surely added glitters to their flourishing careers.
Sawwali Saloni Teri Jheel Si
Aankhen
During the golden era of Bappi Lahiri's hit albums, he
made this lovely track from the 1995 film Hum
Sab Chor Hai. The other songs might have gone unnoticed but this Kumar Sanu
and Alka Yagnik composition was a treat to listen to. This one is definitely something we suggest if
you are looking for a warm song that you can sing relating to nature.
Yeh Reshmi Zulfein Yeh Sharbati Aankhein
The Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz starrer romance Do Raaste had this romantic yet sizzling track from the
music legends Laxmikant-Pyarelal and Mohammad Rafi. A legendary team of
Hindi music joined hands and it wasn't a success?!! Does that happen?!! No way!
Laxmikant-Pyarelal's splendid music and Mohammad Rafi's voice did magic for the
song. This was a new credit added to those many from Rafi saab's songs.
Chaand Chupa Badal Mein
Ahh! Who can forget this mind-capturing and delightful soundtrack
from the Sanjay Leela Bhansali love saga Hum
Dil De Chuke Sanam? This must hear song was composed by Ismail Darbar
and sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. Featuring Salman Khan and Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan, the song was a perfect fit for the scene where Salman was singing
for the shy Aishwarya, who was hiding behind her dupatta like the moon hides behind the
clouds. We bow down to lyricist Mehboob for penning down such commendable
lyrics for the scene and bringing the moment to life.
Ek Ladki Ko Dekha
The 1994 movie 1942: A Love Story portrays the story of two individuals who fall in love despite the political
backdrop of British India. This song beautifully captures the
warmth and beauty of their love and Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala blend
exquisitely into the song sequence. Sung by Kumar Sanu, the song is composed by
the late RD Burman. Unfortunately, the song was released and gained all success
after the demise of Burman sahab.
Pankhurian Yeh Gulab Ki Si Hai
Heard this item number from the 2007 blockbuster comedy Welcome? Yes? Amidst all the romantic
numbers, we thought of including a song that definitely fit the topic yet brought a
variety of genre. The song featured Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar shaking their leg with
the item dance queen Malaika Arora Khan. It was composed by Aadesh Shrivastava and
Anand Raj Anand and sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Shreya Ghoshal. The spicy
and peppy lyrics made it an instant hit, adding to one of the best item dances
till date.
With this, BollyCurry bids
adieu with the assurance to meet you with something new next time! Till then,
enjoy spring and admire nature! And don't forget to tell us your most desired track from
the list!
