Tishaa Kumar, daughter of T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar, passes away at 21

Tishaa Kumar, the young daughter of Krishan Kumar, has tragically passed away at the age of 21 after a courageous battle with cancer. Krishan Kumar, known for his acting career in the 90s and as a co-owner of T-Series, is now mourning the loss of his beloved daughter.

Tishaa's fight against cancer led her from Mumbai to Germany, where she sought advanced treatment. Despite her and her family's efforts, she passed away yesterday in a hospital in Germany.

A T-Series spokesperson released a statement expressing the family's grief: "Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is a difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that their privacy is respected."

For the unversed, Krishan Kumar Dua, is an actor and producer, is best known for his role in the 1995 film "Bewafa Sanam" and for his pivotal role in T-Series, India's largest music production company.

Born into a Punjabi family, Krishan's father, Chandrabhan, migrated to Delhi after the partition of India and worked as a fruit seller. Krishan's brother, the late Gulshan Kumar, founded T-Series, establishing a legacy that Krishan has continued.

Krishan Kumar is married to Tanya Singh, an actress and the daughter of composer Ajit Singh.

Throughout his career, Krishan has co-produced several notable films with his nephew Bhushan Kumar. Their productions include "Lucky: No Time For Love," "Ready," "Darling," "Airlift," and "Satyamev Jayate." The duo has also been behind recent blockbusters such as "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2," starring Kartik Aaryan, and Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming film "Animal."
