'Kesari Chapter 2' teaser: A virtuous Akshay Kumar as C. Sankaran Nair says 'F*** You' in this terrific clip

After all the hype and buzz the teaser of Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh has been released by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film stars Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday.

The teaser takes an unusual approach by starting with 30 seconds of only sound. There are no visuals, logos, or titles in this section. Instead, gunshots, screams, and the noise of chaos recreate the atmosphere of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. This method draws viewers into the tragic event before any images appear.

Akshay Kumar plays Sir C. Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who stood up against British rule after the massacre. His role is central to the story, as the film follows his efforts to seek justice. The teaser includes a voiceover that says, “Don’t forget that you’re still a slave to the British Empire.” This line underlines the theme of the film.

R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday are also part of the cast. However, their roles have not been detailed yet. The film is based on The Case That Shook The Empire, a book by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat. It presents the events surrounding the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and Nair’s legal battle against British rule.
