THIS Veteran Actor Was the First Choice to Play Vijendra Saxena's Role in Pati, Patni Aur Talaq!

Mahir Khan is yet again bringing an interesting show on Star Plus named Pati, Patni Aur Talaq. The show will apparently be a courtroom drama, and as we reported earlier, actors Ridhima Pandit and Pranav Misshra have been cast in the lead roles. While Pranav will be seen playing a street-smart lawyer, Ridhima will be seen as his wife in the show.

Madhubala fame Indresh Malik, Delnaaz Irani, Trideviyaan fame Shalini Sahuta and senior actor Vijendra Saxena also have been roped in for important characters.

While the show already has an ensemble cast, we hear that veteran actor Rakesh Bedi was the first choice to play lawyer in the show, which now will be played by actor Vijendra Saxena.

According to media reports, Rakesh Bedi was almost finalized for the role, but was replaced by Vijendra at the last moment. Speaking about the same with a leading news portal, Rakesh shared that things couldn't materialize between him and makers and the news of him being replaced is false as he was never finalized for the role.

According to some reports, Bedi was informed about his replacement only a day before the shoot.

Replacements are not new in this industry, and only producers and makers know the real reason behind them.
