This 'Swaragini' actor to try Stand-Up Comedy?

With the digital space booming, opportunities for newcomers have widened. Not only have the newcomers benefited from the in vogue medium but also the commercially hit actors have got an opportunity to experiment with their skills which they can never do in TV or films.

Anuj Sachdeva became a household name with TV's hit show Swaragini on Colors and also has to two Bollywood films to his credit.

And just like all actors who are open to experimenting with the digital medium, Anuj has been busy with 'Get Access with Anuj', a new-age digital chat show where he plays a host and invites self-made personalities from different walks of life.

With messages flooding in, the actor has promised his fans to present something even more exciting on the digital space soon.

Anuj shares his excitement, "This show has opened doors of opportunities. I want to do things I've never done before. My friends think I'll make an awesome stand-up comedian. I would love to enroll myself for open mic nights that are hosted at various watering holes in the city. If it hits the right note, I would love to take it to the digital space. I have modelled, I act, now I am hosting and I have also been an RJ... There's so much more to explore."

Anuj believes that Get Access with Anuj has changed him in ways more than one, "I am an introvert by nature. I talk less and I have very few friends. But through the chat show, I have discovered a new side to me where I am able to engage the guests in constant banter. I do talk now about a variety of things and I am at ease doing that.

I've immense respect for stand-up comedians and I feel they are doing a fabulous job. No matter what goes on in the inside, one has to put a smile on the outside. It is something to make people laugh... my friends are always smiling and laughing around me. I think I can be a fine stand-up comedian. I need to keep trying new things to be able to stimulate my mind creatively."
