This 'Ishqbaaaz' actress thanks Diehard fans of the show for showing great support!

With the show receiving backlash for its current storyline, the love that fans have been giving to the show is being much appreciated.

Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz recently introduced actor Nikitin Dheer as the new villian and obstacle in their lead pair Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika's (Surbhi Chandna) life.

However, with a majority portion of the track shifting to Shivaay and Anika, the fandom of Omkara (Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh) and Gauri (Shrenu Parikh) were upset with the makers for sidelining their track, which led to lots of hate on social media for the on-going track.

And amidst all the upheavals, diehard fans of the show have proved to be a rock solid support for the show and actress Mreenal Deshraj who plays the role of Jhanvi Oberoi, couldn't be more thankful.

@angel_juhi04 A lot of fans supported KT because they wanted to see Om save Gauri. Many want him to return as well. There is no such thing as a normal or realistic pair on daily soap and Rikara certainty isn't one. The same regressive content was shown on them as well. I made posts/comments about the regressive content and it wasn't handled well from the fans. I didn't make assumptions about those fans or accuse them of supporting regressive content. I shared my opinion and they shared theirs.

Personally, I don't care if you talk about the shows being regressive because I feel the same. I'm confused where did I say you couldn't talk about the show or it's content? I don't care if actors are trolled for their comments or interviews because everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's true the content is regressive, but what I took offence was to you equating being happy about TRPs to supporting regressive content. Feel free to read my posts I have been complaining about the content on both shows since their inception. I felt like the comment was directed at me and any fan that has ever been happy for the cast and crew's success on any daily soap. That was generalization I was talking about not you discussing your opinions about the content.
