This is my second innings in Balaji Telefilms' - Chaitanya Choudhary

Chaitanya Chowdhury is an elated man as he makes a comeback to fiction after Sangam, that too with the production house that is like family to him!!

On his return to Balaji Telefilms, Chaitanya states, "Balaji is my home base, and I started my career with them. I owe my success as Akshat in Kahhin Toh Hoga to them. After that, my journey as an actor has been really good, and all my shows Kahhin Toh Hoga, Kkavyanjali, Sangam and Aahat have done well".

"After Aahat, I was on a vacation when Balaji Telefilms called me for Sarvagunn Sampanna. They briefed me about the role, and I found it interesting. Everything happened very quickly and I was on the sets to start work. I can say this is my second innings with Balaji", avers the actor.

Ask him why he accepted to get into the shoes of another actor in Sarvagunn, and he says, "I understand that it is very difficult to replace someone in an existing show, as the viewers have an image of the person. But here, the leap made everything easier for me. I need not take forward any attributes of the character, as Aditya over the years, has changed. In other words, the leap has come as a boon for me".

Elaborating on why he took this role, he chides, "When I take up any role, I basically look for two things. One is the production house with whom I work, and the other is the meat in the content. I know how Balaji works and they know me very well. And the story narrated to me was fabulous and I had no reason to refuse it".

On the existing low ratings of the show, Chaitanya quips, "I as an actor want to give my 100% to the show. I believe on the creative abilities of the team, and will leave the channel and the creatives to think about the TRPs".

Talking about the changed Aditya that he will portray, he quips, "Before the leap happened in Sarvagunn, there has been a bitter separation of the leads. Aditya as a character has gone thro' a lot of turmoil. He is now married to a different girl, but something in him is dead. He has lost faith in love. He has moved on for sure, has become a workaholic and no more thinks emotionally. His attitude towards people around him has changed".

On his relationship with his new wife in the show, Chaitanya states, "After moving away from Swara's life, he has got married again on force from his parents. He respects his wife and really cares for her. But there is nothing called love in this relationship. However, he is not bitter towards her".

Lastly, as a message to his fans, Chaitanya states, "This is my second innings in Balaji. I am sure people who have seen me as Akshat in Kahhin Toh Hoga know my capabilities, and I want you all to watch me in Sarvagunn Sampanna and extend the same amount of love".
