Once upon time, suits were a men’s garment. Only found in the wardrobe of men folks. Rocked by them for black-tie events. Well.... All that has changed now because women have started embracing this masculine ensemble in the most feminine way we can imagine. That topped off with truckloads of creativity. Especially our TV bahus, who are always seen in ethnic ensembles on-screen, while off it when they don a power suit they make sure it is full of quirk.
Here’s to taking a glimpse of how these quirky suits are looking in our TV town:
Anita Hassanandani has time and again floored us with her saree getups but today we shall take a look at her slim fit linen grey suit. What makes Anita's suit unique is the one-sided shoulder silhouette and the embroidered detail on the sleeve. Also the fact that it sits perfectly well on her.
One of the most chicest and the sexiest power suits we have seen in a long time, Krystle Dsouza’s black slim fit ensemble, embellished with pearl details. Adding an extra dose of glamour, Krystle styles it with silver metallic pumps.
While Power suits are known for it’s fit, Mouni Roy shows us what a relaxed fit suit looks like. A fit so unique yet comfortable. Like a real style seer would, Mouni styled it with pointy pumps and sleek centre parted hair.
Forget black suits, Rubina Dilaik has a ravishing red take on this powerful ensemble. Rubina breaks the monotony with that printed shirt while adding an extra doze of oomph with that quirky pair of earrings.
Think printed suits and Shraddha Arya has the coolest and the prettiest one. An oversized leaf printed blazer and high waisted pants. Shraddha styled it with a black bustier and strappy sandals.
