There will not be a romantic relationship between Dev and Pari: Meera Deosthale of Gud Se Meetha Ishq

Actress Meera Deosthale is garnering a lot of appreciation for her potrayal of a 'special child' 'Pari' in Star Bharat's show 'Gud Se Meetha Ishq.' The actress, who has also been a part of popular shows like 'Udaan' and 'Vidya' spoke to India Forums about the upcoming track of the show. 

When we asked her about her first impression of costar Arhaan Behl, Meera said, 

''I think it was very basic and simple. He was already present on the set when I reached on sets that day. After which I went upto him and tolf him a 'Hi' and told him that we have all been waiting for him. Because genuinely we all were waiting for his track to begin since we knew things were going to get a lot more interesting fo Pari. We started off with a very beautiful song 'Naam ghum jayega,' the picturization of which was also done very well. I think our chemistry was very natural and we clicked very well.'' 

Not just this, Meera also made a revealation in regards to the progression of Pari and Dev's track. The actress said, 

''So Dev is Pari's teacher who comes home and gives Pari music therapy. When nothing and nobody can control or subdue Pari or calm her down is when Dev sir steps in. Pari calms down just by listening to his voice. He knows how to handle her in a better, sweeter and softer way compareed to Pari's family. I think there are many interesting scenes that are going to come up between Dev and Pari. These scenes are mostly going to be fun. The one thing what the audience might be expecting and what I can tell you is that it will not be a very romantic relationship between them because Pari is a special child and Dev is her teacher, so whatever bond the two of them share is and will be a very platonic bond.''

Ask the actress about the challenges of portraying her character and if she misses the glamourous side of TV shows the actress says, 

''Yes it is very challenging for me to potray the character of Pari because we have been doing this for almost two months now. To come on set everyday and be in a zone of a character, to play a slow learner is not what comes naturally. There is a lot of hardwork behind it. The entire team is involved in every reaction and every scene I perform. My character usually has the habit of goofing things up, there is always so much of drama involved with Pari. So it does get challenging for me to do different things everyday. But it is very interesting also, it is very fulfilling for me as an actor to live this journey. Honestly, I do not miss the glam side, because I think I am wearing absolutely cute clothes. I have also been told that I am carrying it off pretty well and that I look absolutely cute. I don't think TV actresses get to do something out of the box. In that case, I feel I am very privileged to be able to do something like this.''

Along with Meera Deosthale, Gud Se Meetha Ishq also sees Pankhuri Awasthy, Ishaan Dhawan and Arhaan Behl as the leading star cast of the show.
